Despite her hectic schedule, which included dating Travis Kelce and preparing for her international Eras Tour dates, Taylor Swift came to support her longtime friend Emma Stone at the premiere of her most recent film, Poor Things, held at the DGA Theater in New York City on Wednesday.

Recently named Person of the Year by TIME magazine, Taylor showed up at the film screening wearing an understated black ensemble.

The 5’9″ pop star opted to skip the red carpet to give Emma the spotlight, but she was seen outside as she made her way inside the venue.

The Anti-Hero singer embraced quiet elegance in a long, black evening gown that clung perfectly to her slim body.

She selected the modestly elegant “Constantine” gown by The Row, now on sale for $1,245 (from $2,490) at Mytheresa and Nordstrom.

Founded by twins Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, The Row is known for its commitment to understated elegance and minimalism, which is evident in Swift’s evening dress. Cut from double-faced viscose, the simple sleeveless dress featured delicate shoulder straps, a flattering bodycon fit, a scoop neck, and an ankle-length hem.

Swift stayed warm on the way to the event by donning a heavy black coat by Charlotte Simone over her dainty slip dress.

Made from thick black Mongolian lambswool, the “Penny” winter coat evoked a retro vibe with its double-breasted, longline silhouette. It featured front buttons, a thick fur collar, fur cuffs, and a knee-length hem.

Keeping the look classic, Taylor slipped her red pedicured feet into the Giuseppe Zanotti “Lilibeth” slingback stiletto sandals, available for $750 at Farfetch. We’ve previously spotted the same heels on Addison Rae.

These opulent black silk velvet shoes, which have an open toe and a slingback strap perched on a 4-inch heel, showcase the incredible craftsmanship of the Italian luxury brand.

Swift kept her evening essentials in the $1,490 astrology-themed Naeem Khan “Armory Zodiac” clutch. It was made from acrylic with plated brass inlay and sparkling Swarovski crystal accents arranged in a Zodiac star constellation.

Adding a dash of glitz to her head-to-toe black ensemble, Swift accessorized with multiple diamond earrings from fine jewelry brands VRAI and Maria Tash.

Her classic monochrome dress was enhanced subtly by her $1,990 VRAI Solitaire Drop Ear Jacket, crafted from 14k white gold. This understated, modern earring was set with a single-carat round brilliant-cut diamond with a 15.90mm drop length and a dual-stud opening post for a custom drop length.

It went well with her $750 VRAI Solitaire Stud Earring, an oval-shaped diamond prong set in 14k yellow gold finished with a push-back closure.

Her $1,990 VRAI Linked Tennis Earring, which featured four graduated round brilliant-cut diamonds set in 14k yellow gold, was a lovely addition to her minimalist ensemble.

Furthermore, she wore a $4,125 6mm Maria Tash Diamond Pear Stud Earring, including a large white pear-shaped diamond stud with a Victorian scalloped bezel and a 14k gold traditional butterfly backing.

Completing her exquisite jewelry was the $2,450 Louis Vuitton Blossom Ring that oozed feminine sophistication. Hand-polished pink gold with sparkling diamonds outlined the star-shaped Monogram Flower, a symbol of the house’s heritage and expertise.

Rounding out her evening look, Taylor Swift opted for low-key glam, wearing her signature side-swept bangs with winged eyeliner, peachy eyeshadow, and deep red lipstick.

Taylor Swift and Emma Stone’s Over 10 Years of Friendship

Taylor Swift and Emma Stone have been friends since their first meeting at the 2008 Young Hollywood Awards.

Recently, Stone gave Vanity Fair an insight into their special bond. “I was lucky ‘cause we’ve been friends for a really long time. I’ve known her since we were 17 and 18, so she hooked me up, which was very nice ‘cause I know those tickets are impossible to get,” disclosing how she got her Eras Tour concert tickets for Taylor’s March show in Arizona.

Stone added that Taylor Swift is “a wonderful friend.” “She blows my mind. The amount of sheer stamina to do three and a half hours and perform 44 songs and to maintain the extreme energy of the audience—I’ve never seen anything like it.”

And while she won an Oscar for her romantic musical La La Land, Stone brushed off the thought of ever singing a duet with Swift. “Oh, God, hell no!” she said.

“I can’t sing, like for a massive stadium. Let’s not even go down that road. She has insane talent—I could never do what she does.”
