Last week, Kim Kardashian tweeted that she was redoing her whole wardrobe and that she was ready to try new looks for 2015. The reality star, however, seems to have no plans to ditch her all-time favorite color as well as her trademark figure-hugging clothing pieces.
On Thursday last week, she was seen in a black fitted skirt with a matching biker jacket while shopping in the Big Apple. For John Legend’s birthday party in the evening of the same day, she changed into another black outfit — a plunging Balmain dress and Kanye West heels.

Just the other day, the mom-of-one flew back to Los Angeles in yet another curve-hugging black outfit. She was stylish but comfy in a pair of knee-length leggings, a sheer long-sleeved top, and a luxurious designer fur coat. She wore her hair in a slick ponytail, which was also nothing new.
Kim completed her black airport outfit with a pair of satin boots from Balmain’s fall 2010 collection. They are unique with silk-covered buttons that go up from the shafts down to the vamps, providing a military vibe. They also have black stretch panels, zipper fastenings, almond toes, and self-covered heels. Unfortunately, these Balmain babies are already sold out in many retailers.

Later that day, Kim attended the W magazine’s It Girls Celebration at the A.O.C. restaurant in West Hollywood. As expected, she graced the event in black — a Stella McCartney satin jumpsuit with a matching robe, which made her look like she just got out of bed.

Now, is this what she calls “new look”? Perhaps we’ll be seeing more of her in satin! Anyway, we can’t wait to see what she has in store for red carpet events this year.
