Melania Trump and her husband Donald Trump left the White House for the final time on Wednesday in Washington, DC, as the city prepared for the Inauguration of President-Elect Joe Biden.
The 50-year-old Slovene-American former model headed to Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, in an outfit from Chanel’s Pre-Fall Métiers d’Art 2019/2020 runway, Christian Louboutin heels, and a crocodile Birkin bag from Hermès.

Neither she nor her husband wore masks. After attending Donald Trump’s rally-type exit speech, Melania boarded Marine One for Mar-a-Lago.
Trump is the first president in more than 150 years to refuse to attend his successor’s inauguration.

“Being your first lady was my greatest honor — thank you for your love and support,” she said in a short farewell speech.
“You will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all, God bless your families and God bless this beautiful nation.”

Before landing in Florida, the outgoing First Lady changed into a colorful printed silk and wool cady maxi dress from Gucci that you can buy for $3700 at Mytheresa. Her retro-inspired dress features a hypnotic geometric print inflected with the label’s GG logo.

She paired her dress with Roger Vivier goatskin leather ballerina flats and Gucci sunglasses.
Before leaving the capital, Melania did not do the traditional walkthrough of the White House residence with the new, incoming First Lady.
