Ashley Park, renowned for her role in the popular series Emily in Paris, made a radiant appearance on the red carpet at the premiere of Joy Ride at the Westwood Regency Village Theater in California on June 26.
The 32-year-old actress captivated everyone at the highly anticipated event by donning a stunning, sunny yellow ruffled dress from the Atelier Versace Spring 2021 collection.

Ashley’s dress was a masterful fusion of modern elegance and playful allure. Its high-low hemline teased a glimpse of her slender legs, while the precisely tailored bodice and halter neckline accentuated her figure.
The skirt dazzled with layers of tulle in a delightful array of yellow hues, forming a captivating and vibrant spectacle for the eyes.
To complement her red carpet ensemble, the Beef actress adorned herself with various gold accessories, including hoop earrings, stacked bracelets, and multiple rings, adding a touch of sophistication to her overall look.

Her brown locks cascaded down her back elegantly, allowing her natural features to shine, subtly enhanced by her understated makeup.
Ashley effortlessly boosted her petite frame of 5 feet and 4 inches (162.6 cm) with her choice of footwear. She opted for sky-high Rosalia platform heels from luxury vegan shoe brand Piferi, which perfectly matched the monochrome look of her gown.
Available on Harvey Nichols and Farfetch, these strappy sandals featured a thick platform base and a block heel, elevating her stature to an astonishing height of at least 6 inches.
The shiny gold shoes boasted a peep-toe opening and a thin ankle strap, providing style and stability, completing her glamorous red carpet ensemble.

Ashley Park shared her unique approach to getting into character in an interview with People at the event.
She revealed that she assigns a signature scent to each character she portrays, saying, “I’m such a sensory person. I feel like smells take me back immediately to a certain time in my life or to a certain person.”
Ashley added, “What I started to do is when I have a character, especially one that’s similar to me in some ways… to get into the skin of that person, I will go to a perfume place and find a scent that feels like that character. And every morning before I go to set, I’ll just put it on.”
For the premiere of Joy Ride, she disclosed that she wore the perfume that accompanied her throughout filming, stating, “I put on the Audrey [her character] perfume tonight, and I was like, ‘Oh my god, I’m in Vancouver. I’m doing this movie.’”

What Is Joy Ride About?
Joy Ride is a raunchy R-rated comedy directed by Adele Lim, in which Ashley Park plays the lead role of Audrey, a woman adopted as a child by American parents.
The film, set to be released on July 5, follows the wild journey of childhood friends Audrey and Lolo, portrayed by Good Trouble star Sherry Cola, as they travel to China searching for the former’s birth mother.

Joined by Audrey’s former roommate, Kat, played by Everything Everywhere All at Once actress Stephanie Hsu, and Lolo’s cousin, Deadeye, portrayed by comedian Sabrina Wu, the group finds themselves caught up in wild shenanigans, navigating unexpected twists to evade a drug bust.
The movie’s creators, Adele Lim, Cherry Chevapravatdumrong, and Teresa Hsiao, were inspired to explore themes of personal and sexual discovery, defying on-screen stereotypes and showcasing the diverse experiences of modern Asian American women.
