Paying homage to one of Audrey Hepburn’s most iconic roles, Givenchy dressed Kendall Jenner in a custom sheer crystal-embellished gown that was a modern take on the dress that the French fashion house designed for Audrey’s Eliza Doolittle character in My Fair Lady.

The dress revealed the then-25-year-old model’s long legs and cleavage while a nude bodysuit underneath protected her modesty.

A sexy version of Audrey’s ball gown in the movie, the sheer nude mesh dress features an all-over crystal embellishment from the shoulders to the opera sleeves and down to the floor-sweeping skirt.

Continuing with the Audrey Hepburn look, Kendall wore a huge diamond collar around her neck.

Before hitting the white carpet, the supermodel posted on her Instagram story a clip from the ball scene in the 1964 film and a black-and-white photo of Audrey in the crystal-embellished white gown with the same crystal choker and sleeves, sans the sheer design.

Stylist Marni Senofonte ensured Kendall’s dress took center stage, pairing it with simple nude heels featuring a thong toe post and a wraparound ankle strap.

Makeup artist Mary Phillips continued with the classic glam theme of Kendall’s look. She told Vogue: “We wanted to show classic aspects of Audrey but in a more contemporary fashion.”

Mary added that after seeing Kendall’s dress for the long-awaited gala, the glam team “decided to take bits and pieces of Audrey’s glam from iconic images over her career.”

She used Kylie Skin Face Moisturizer and Eye Cream on the model and added a thick winged eyeliner on her lids with a touch of white eyeshadow to showcase her eyes. A swipe of rosy lip color completed Kendall’s makeup look.

As for her hair, celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin coiffed Kendall’s hair into a sleek midi-knot with a center parting.
