We all know that the glitz and glamour of the red carpet is mostly about promotions — both those of artists and the brands they wear. Did you know that artists usually don’t own their red carpet outfits? They’re usually on loan from designers. This year’s exception? Carrie Underwood.

The country singer walked into the 2016 Grammys with some bling around her neck, crediting her husband for gifting her the piece for Valentine’s Day.

Carrie paired her hubby’s Valentine’s Day gift from jewelry designer Johnathan Arndt with a black Nicolas Jebran satin gown. She slipped into a pair of black Giuseppe Zanotti sling backs to complete her Grammys look.

Carrie changed into a new look later on for her duet with Sam Hunt, which included a Maria Lucia Hohan dress, Sylva and Cie jewelry and heels from Schutz.
