David and Victoria Beckham were among the high-profile stars who sailed along the grand canal to witness Jacquemus’ “Le Chouchou” Spring 2024 show during Paris Fashion Week Monday.

The couple, who has always been the subject of a divorce rumor, appeared to still be in a honeymoon phase as they watched lingerie-clad models on the runway from their front-row row boat at Chateau de Versailles.

Flashing their pearly whites while taking selfies, the Beckhams donned matching neutrals, with David in a beige linen suit and Victoria in a blush pink slip dress.

The former professional footballer, 48, displayed his neck tattoo in a white tank top worn underneath a single-breasted beige jacket. A pair of brown sandals and black sunglasses completed his summertime look.

On the other hand, the 49-year-old former popstar showed off her fashion prowess by donning a shimmering pale pink silky dress from her upcoming Pre-Spring/Summer 2024 collection.

It had an asymmetrical hem, a large ruffled rosette on her right hip, and thin spaghetti straps that draped beautifully over her lean figure.

Contrasting the vintage silhouette with futuristic accessories, Victoria styled the breezy look with oversized black sunglasses. She also wore dainty earrings and a diamond bracelet and carried a large, structured ostrich bag from her eponymous collection.

The Ugly Betty actress let her long dark tresses cascade over her shoulder in loose waves and opted for complementary makeup with nude pink lipstick.

Victoria, known for putting style over comfort, chose to pair her airy dress with thigh-high peep-toe heeled boots rather than the more obvious choice like strappy heels.

While skintight over-the-knee boots are an unusual summer footwear choice, Nicola Peltz’s mother-in-law managed to pull them off with ease.

French fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus exclusively told WWD that the Versailles has influenced his most recent collection, adding that doing a show at the palace was “a childhood dream.”

“I was so inspired by the historical place during the design process that it led me to explore many new creative possibilities, different from my past shows, but still very Jacquemus.”

“I am really honored and proud to be able to do a show there as an independent fashion house.”

The Jacquemus collection is said to have taken inspiration from Princess Diana and Marie Antoinette. “I was always obsessed with Lady Di and started collecting 90s magazines and Vogue covers,” said Simon Porte Jacquemus.

The fashion show was dubbed “Le Chouchou,” which is the French word for “darling” and can also allude to scrunchy hair ties in reference to some of the puffy dresses worn by the models, including Kendall Jenner, on the runway.

“I was going to call it “La Culotte” (the panties), but it was too ugly for Versailles,” he quipped.
