Demi Moore shared a heartfelt birthday message on Instagram to celebrate ex-hubby Bruce Willis’s 67th birthday. The couple, who were married from 1987 to 2000, share daughters Rumer, 33, Scout, 30, and Tallulah, 29.
Moore’s caption read: “Happy birthday, Bruce! Thankful for our blended family.” The pair have remained close since their divorce in 2000 and continue to co-parent with their blended families.
A Big Blended Family
The 59-year-old actress says that a successful relationship is all about open and meaningful conversation.

“In any relationship — whether it’s with a partner, whether it’s with your family or your friends — that being honest and just really communicating well and having good tools for communication, I think, is so unbelievably important.”
The two stars regularly show the world their blended family, celebrating holidays together, going on vacations as a big blended family, and even attending events to support each other.

Willis and Moore first met in 1987 at the premiere party for the movie Stakeout. Moore had just ended her engagement to Emilio Estevez, the star of the film. The pair were the “it” couple of Hollywood until their divorce in 2000.
Amicable After their Divorce
Although they ended their 12-year marriage, the two remained amicable and co-parented their three daughters successfully.
Willis said in a 2000 interview with Rolling Stone that he still loved her and that they remained very close: “We realize we have a lifelong commitment to our kids. Our friendship continues.”

Moore married Ashton Kutcher in 2005, but the couple later split in 2013. In 2009, Willis married English-American model Emma Heming Willis. The couple share daughters Mabel, 9, and Evelyn, 7.
Moore shows her support for their blended families with open social media posts.

In 2021, she honored Heming Willis with an International Women’s Day tribute: “I #SeeHer as family who I am honored to call a friend. Our children are sisters and yet there is no name for what our family connection is to one another,” she wrote. “We are mothers united, sisters bonded on this crazy adventure of life.”
Quarantining in Idaho
At the beginning of the pandemic, the entire blended family gathered to quarantine together in Idaho. However, Heming Willis, Mabel, and Evelyn joined the rest of the family at a later date due to travel restrictions.
Rumer said that the time spent together was wonderful: “Just to be able to really spend quality time and be outside and be in our family home and be not only with my sisters and my mom and their partners but my little sisters and my dad and my stepmom.”

Rumer also commented on her parents’ amicable relationship after their divorce. Growing up, she witnessed plenty of friends forced to take sides between divorced parents.
She states, “I didn’t have to do that, and I feel so grateful that my parents made it such a priority that we could be a family, even though it looked different.’
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore continue to show the world that their blended family is full of love and good times with their support of each other and their children.

In 2017, Demi Moore proudly displayed her love for vivid hues and striking patterns at three different movie premieres in New York City.
The seemingly ageless actress has proved time and time again that she can still work a red carpet like no other by making bold fashion statements.
Let’s take a look at some of Demi’s fabulous looks.
1. Bohemian Gown and Nicholas Kirkwood “Pollypetal” Platform Sandals

Demi joined Chloë Sevigny at the premiere of “Good Time” in New York City, stepping out in a cool bohemian gown with long sleeves and a gorgeous pattern.

The Ghost actress styled her dress with pink lips, statement earrings, and her signature sleek, straight raven hair before finishing her look off with colorblock platform sandals from Nicholas Kirkwood.

The “Pollypetal” sandals from Nicholas Kirkwood feature teal suede and chunky magenta patent leather platforms and heels.

2. Gucci Fall 2017 Floral Suit and Christian Louboutin ‘Aketi’ Shoes

Demi also oozed feminine charm at the New York premiere of “Blind” as she arrived wearing a two-piece floral suit from Gucci’s Fall 2017 collection.

The notch lapel blazer revealed a hint of a black lace bra underneath, while the cropped trousers showed off her multicolored Christian Louboutin “Aketi” heels.
Center-parted hair, minimal makeup, and a Gucci printed clutch provided the finishing touches to her look.

While barely visible, her wedge/block fusion d’Orsay pump features a scalloped rim and chic covered button ankle strap.
The embossed velvet and dragonfly glitter will bring newfound longevity to your evening looks.

3. Christian Dior Gown and Giuseppe Zanotti Heels
Finally, the then 54-year-old actress opted for a Grecian goddess look as she joined Zoë Kravitz at the New York premiere of “Rough Night” in a multicolored dégradé gown from Christian Dior.

The frock from the luxury clothing brand featured beaded shoulder straps, an empire waist, contrasting multicolored piping on the bodice, pleated detailing, and a floor-length skirt.
Demi finished off her look with side-swept waves, a Christian Dior clutch, and Giuseppe Zanotti heels.
