The Barbie promotional tour has been making waves and surpassing expectations, and the London premiere was no exception.
On Wednesday, Dua Lipa, who plays Mermaid Barbie in the film, stole the spotlight as she graced the red (or rather, pink) carpet for the movie premiere at Cineworld Leicester Square in London.
With her mesmerizing ensemble, the 27-year-old English-Albanian singer showcased her affinity for butterflies, radiating mermaid vibes in a vibrant Versace dress.

Styled by Lorenzo Posocco, Dua Lipa looked sensational in a sheer multicolored gown from her collaboration with the Italian luxury fashion house, the “La Vacanza” (vacation) collection.
This jaw-dropping summer dress, which debuted at the Pre-Fall 2023 runway show during the Cannes Film Festival in May, shimmered with hues of pink and purple under the dazzling lights.

The body-hugging, one-piece creation beautifully accentuated Lipa’s stunning figure, featuring gold metal chain straps and a sexy scalloped V-neckline with intricate rhinestone detailing that added glamour to her overall look.
She adorned herself with accessories from the Versace x Dua Lipa collaboration to complement her ensemble. A chunky, multi-colored choker added an extra dose of allure to her stunning appearance.

Dua Lipa’s involvement with Barbie didn’t end with her show-stopping appearance to celebrate her memorable cameo in the movie.
She also contributed to the Barbie soundtrack with her catchy song, “Dance The Night.” Serving as the lead single for the soundtrack, the song was released on May 25, a few months before the grand premiere.
The album boasts of an impressive lineup of artists, including Ava Max, Ice Spice, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, Billie Eilish, and even Ryan Gosling, who plays Margot Robbie’s male counterpart in the live-action movie, with his song titled “I’m Just Ken.”
Barbie will officially hit theaters on July 21, coinciding with Christopher Nolan’s epic drama, Oppenheimer, making it a double treat for moviegoers.
