With a career spanning over three decades, Gwen Stefani has already solidified her position as a music and fashion icon at the top of the pop culture world.

The multi-platinum musician has earned numerous accolades throughout her career, including three Grammys, culminating in her induction onto the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

On Friday, the 54-year-old singer was finally honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with her husband, Blake Shelton, and her three kids, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, by her side throughout the ceremony.

To mark the occasion, Stefani dressed in a $2,195 silver sequined Christian Cowan minidress decorated with large star-shaped paillettes, which seemed overly literal for the Walk of Fame star ceremony.

However, this look was anticipated, given that Stefani’s style leans toward anything edgy, bold, and over-the-top.

The now-sold-out “Growing Star” shift dress was fully covered in silver sequins and cinched at the waist with a silver belt. The sparkling number also featured star-embellished long sleeves and a hem that skimmed the thighs.

As if the sparkles weren’t enough, The Aviator actress accessorized with a selection of silver rings, a pair of diamond stud earrings, and a dainty necklace with a diamond-embellished cross pendant.

Styling duo Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, whose high-profile clients include Jennifer Lopez and Kerry Washington, dressed the former No Doubt lead vocalist.

They styled her look with fishnets before slipping her feet into Le Silla’s “Andy” knee-high boots in mirror metallic silver leather.

Blake Shelton Praises Gwen Stefani’s Professional and Personal Achievements

Record executive Jimmy Iovine and entertainment executive Irving Azoff, who were both instrumental in Stefani’s success in the industry, honored the singer with their moving speeches before Blake Shelton took to the podium to celebrate his wife.

“The first time that I ever met Gwen was in 2014. She wasn’t like any other famous person that I had ever met before. She drove herself to work in a black minivan with car seats in it. She didn’t roll in with security. She came in with a baby and two little boys, which at the time worked like security because nobody was going near—it was chaos,” Shelton joked.

At that moment, he realized that Stefani valued her children more than fame. “It was clear to me that she was a mother first and foremost over anything else in the world. That was her number one job,” he continued as Stefani tried to contain her tears.

“And now, standing here almost 10 years later after I first met her, I can say without question that being a mother is still the most important thing in her life. And I got to tell you all, that’s rare in this business.”

He went on to say “Gwen is the perfect person to receive a star on the Walk of Fame.” “From music, television, and movies to fashion and beauty. She has risen to the top over and over again with her unique style that has made the world fall in love with her—not as much as me though.”

Giving Gwen a tight embrace, he concluded his speech, saying, “You deserve this, and I love you.”

After hearing from the speakers, Stefani took to the podium to thank her loved ones, including Shelton.

“You have given me the kind of love I never knew before. The minute I met you, I knew that I was home and I am so, so proud that you’re mine. I can’t believe it. I love you so much.”

Before the unveiling, Stefani said having her own star “is just bizarre.” “Never in my wildest dreams did I think that this girl right here from Orange County would have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.”

“This means a lot for me. I’ve been writing songs since I was 17, and I never thought anything would happen.”
