The Rhode name also brought an unrelated fashion company into the launch-day story. The clothing label Rhode, founded by Purna Khatau and Phoebe Vickers in 2013, filed a federal trademark lawsuit alleging consumer confusion over the shared name. That dispute was separate from the fashion choices Bieber wore while promoting her skincare company.

For her Good Morning America appearance, Bieber chose a white velvet dress from Jil Sander’s Fall 2022 collection. The long-sleeved midi featured an asymmetric neckline and a high side slit, keeping the silhouette simple enough for the shoes to remain visible as she walked into the studio.

She finished the tonal look with gold hoop earrings and rings selected by stylist Dani Michelle, while makeup artist Leah Darcy kept her makeup understated and hairstylist Danielle Priano wore her hair down in loose waves.

The footwear came from By Far’s collaboration with celebrity stylist Mimi Cuttrell. The sand-colored pumps combined a sharply pointed toe with a slingback strap and a curved 3.7-inch heel, giving the otherwise restrained white outfit a more sculptural profile.

Pantless Polish: Hailey Bieber Styles an Aggi Blazer With Bottega Veneta Bounce Loafers

Another look pushed the tailoring in a less conventional direction. Bieber wore a black micro mini with Aggi’s black “Isabella Designer” twill blazer, whose low lapels, single-button closure, and shaped waist gave the oversized jacket a more defined silhouette.

Instead of balancing the short hem with heels, she went in the opposite direction: white crew socks and chunky black Bottega Veneta Bounce loafers. The combination turned the loafers into the visual weight at the bottom of the outfit.

Bieber accessorized the black tailoring with Tiffany & Co. Sevillana earrings, layered necklaces and rings, along with Balenciaga Neo oval sunglasses.

The Bounce loafers were made from polished calf leather with rounded toes, contrast white stitching, and exaggerated rubber soles. They are a particularly bold take on the lug-sole loafer, one of many variations of the classic slip-on shoe.

The silhouette was not a one-off for Bieber. She has repeatedly used substantial loafers to ground casual outfits, including chunky Marni penny loafers worn with straight-leg jeans in Beverly Hills in December 2021.

Soft Tailoring: Hailey Bieber Wears Sportmax With Jimmy Choo Cass Pumps

Bieber changed proportions again for Live with Kelly and Ryan, replacing the abbreviated black tailoring with a beige Sportmax pantsuit. The tonal set paired the label’s Odino blazer, detailed with corset-like ribbon work at the back, with high-waisted slim trousers.

She added Tiffany & Co. x Elsa Peretti jewelry, including a Wave three-row diamond ring and teardrop earrings, while keeping the footwear within the same warm neutral palette.

Her Jimmy Choo Cass pumps combined camel suede with glossy patent panels, sharp pointed toes, and slim 3.7-inch heels. Because the trousers nearly covered the shoes, the pointed vamps became the most visible part of the design.

Jimmy Choo was already a familiar name in Bieber’s wardrobe. In 2021, she fronted Jimmy Choo’s Fall campaign in styles including Saeda pumps, Nicole pumps, Leroy sock boots, and Chad knee-high boots, following earlier red-carpet appearances in the label’s platform sandals.

For a later press stop, Bieber returned to black and switched from trousers to a short Sportmax Fall 2022 turtleneck dress. The fitted long-sleeved design featured sculpted hip flaps and an abbreviated hem, putting the emphasis back on her legs and shoes.

With her hair pulled back and narrow Balenciaga sunglasses continuing the all-black palette, Bieber finished the outfit with Jimmy Choo Erin slingback pumps.

The black leather heels used the same pointed-toe language seen earlier in her Cass pumps, but the open slingback construction made them visually lighter against the very short Sportmax hem.

What Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Press-Day Shoes Reveal About Her Style

The four outfits work because the footwear changes the proportions rather than simply matching the clothes. The By Far slingbacks extend the clean line of the white Jil Sander dress; the oversized Bottega Veneta loafers deliberately interrupt the leggy proportions of the Aggi look; and the two Jimmy Choo styles use pointed toes to sharpen Sportmax tailoring at opposite ends of the day.

At 5 feet 6¼ inches (168.3 cm), Bieber doesn’t rely on one type of height-enhancing shoe. Her wardrobe moves easily between chunky flats and slender heels, with hem length, trouser shape, toe shape, and sole weight doing much of the visual work.
