After not being invited to the Met Gala last year, rumors surfaced that Khloe Kardashian was “banned” from the fashion event by Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour for being too “C-list.”

The reality TV star quickly shut down the rumor, saying that the claim was “Absolutely NOT True.”

Eight months later, Khloe finally made her Met Gala debut!

She was spotted arriving at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the Upper East Side with her sisters, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and their mom Kris Jenner. They have become staples of the Met Ball over the years.

Unlike Kourt and Kylie, who strayed far from this year’s theme, the Good American founder took the “gilded glamour” dress code seriously in a sparkling Moschino gown.

Embracing the golden look, Khloe, who recently sparked romance rumors with Trey Songz, wore a see-through sheer gown that clung perfectly to her hourglass figure.

The form-fitting column dress, which showed a glimpse of her nude corset and toned legs, is decked out in crystals and gold bead fringe all over.

It also features a cleavage-baring low-cut neckline and embellished shoulder straps, with one side decorated with a large black ruffled fabric cascading around her back like a shawl resting in the crook of her other arm.

Adding more opulence to the look, the 37-year-old socialite wore black opera gloves, a pair of diamond stud earrings from Lorraine Schwartz, and nude heels.

Beauty-wise, hairstylist Chris Appleton parted Khloe’s shoulder-length bleached blonde hair to one side.

At the same time, makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic gave Khloe a bronzed look with smokey eyeshadow, peach blush, and matte nude lip color.

Unfortunately, the internet felt underwhelmed by Khloe’s look, saying it was too boring for her first Met Gala appearance.

“This is why Kourtney and Khloe ain’t ever been invited before,” one tweeted.

“Yeesh….look at Khloe not trying to be seen lmaooo,” said another.

Following the event, the mom-of-one admitted that her “anxiety was through the roof” while walking up the Grand Staircase at the Met Gala for the first time.

“Am I supposed to admit that I almost had a heart attack on that carpet tonight?” Khloe tweeted.

She also posted a carousel of photos from the gala and thanked Jeremy Scott and her glam team for her first-ever Met Gala look.

“An unforgettable evening at The Met. I am so incredibly honored to have been invited and so grateful to @ItsJeremyScott for creating this gorgeous custom-made fringe column gown with 540,000 hand-sewn glass beads in just 10 days! @Moschino #MetGala,” she tweeted.
