In early 2015, representatives for Taylor Swift were quick to deny an article in The National Enquirer claiming the “Blank Space” singer had copied Heidi Klum and insured her legs for $40 million.

“It seems like a ludicrous sum, but if something was to happen to her legs, Swift wouldn’t be able to give her signature stage performances,” an insider told the American tabloid newspaper. “Her $200 million career would be in big trouble.”

“She thought her legs were possibly worth a million,” the source added. “But $40 million shocked her. She’s even a little embarrassed about it.”

The singer herself took to social media to make fun of the rumors that her legs are insured for a whopping $40 million.

“GREAT WORK MEREDITH I WAS JUST TRYING TO LOVE YOU AND NOW YOU OWE ME 40 MILLION DOLLARS,” Tay captioned a photo of a huge scratch on her leg from her pet cat Meredith.

In May 2019, Ellen DeGeneres asked the popular artist if she washes her legs in the shower. “I do, because when you shave your legs, the shaving cream is like soap, right?” Taylor responded.

“So that counts? Good. I’m on the right side of history, then,” she added. Do you agree that shaving cream counts as soap?

In October 2014, Taylor Swift showed off her legs in a military-inspired outfit as she performed live for Good Morning America.

The cross-over star slipped into a short blue-and-gold ensemble from Sass & Bide’s 2014 Fall collection and showed off her hot legs in gold ankle-strap pumps.

She completed the getup with a sleek side-swept bob, a berry-pink lip shade, and a gold necklace.

How do you like Taylor’s stage costume? Not bad, right?

The matching separates were the perfect choice for her appearance, especially since the combo really accentuated her slender curves and extra-long hot legs.

We also like how she finished the mix with gold ankle-strap pumps. Blue heels would have looked boring with the outfit, and strappy sandals wouldn’t have gone well with the look either.

In October 2014, Taylor Swift smiled at her fans and flaunted her sexy legs when she arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater to tape an appearance on Late Show with David Letterman in New York City.
