Scarlett Johansson and her husband Colin Jost served up Old Hollywood glamour for a Saturday date night at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
The two, who married in 2020, were a match made in fashion heaven as they stepped out looking elegant in black-tie outfits for the organization’s annual high-profile dinner. The event supports journalists covering the president, events, and programs that help educate the public about the value of the First Amendment, a free press, and scholarships for the next generation of journalists.
US President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, and a few media representatives, including celebrities Rachel Brosnahan, Chris Pine, Coco Rocha, and Molly Ringwald, attended the event.

Coordinating Black-Tie Outfits
Colin Jost, who was tapped by the WHCA to host the 2024 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, looked neat and handsome in a classic navy-blue tuxedo suit with satin peak lapels by wealthy fashion designer Giorgio Armani. He teamed it with a white dress shirt, black bowtie, and shiny black Oxford shoes.
His plus one, the ever-glamorous Scarlett Johansson, complemented his black-and-white suit and wore a white gown from Armani Privé. I love how straightforward it is, yet it still radiates undeniable elegance.
Having broken free from the stereotypical “blonde bombshell” image that she claimed was forced upon her, the Black Widow star has adopted a more sophisticated and elegant style. And while she looked gorgeous during her bombshell years, I can’t help but admire her more understated and refined approach to red-carpet dressing.

Despite the inevitable display of cleavage, the Infinity War actress’s latest red-carpet appearance was elegant, in my opinion. She looked the epitome of Old Hollywood glamour in the ivory silk column gown fitted at the bodice, highlighting her svelte figure. I love how perfectly tailored it looks on her body.
The sleek and minimalist monochromatic gown was accentuated with sparkling tiny crystals, tracing the strapless neckline, the ruffled fabric at the side, and the wrap-style skirt.
I honestly like the addition of the crystal-trimmed ivory scarf, as it adds a regal feel to the look.

Classy and Sophisticated with Minimalist Accessories
Unfortunately, I was unable to get a good look at Johansson’s heels, which were open-toed silver sandals. But considering they complemented the crystal embellishments on her white gown, I think they were the ideal shoes for the look.
I also like that she styled her ensemble with minimal jewelry. She adorned her wrist with just a tennis bracelet and secured a set of diamond and pearl earrings on her ears.

Matching Old Hollywood Glam
Completing the look’s Old Hollywood theme, Scarlett fashioned her lustrous blonde tresses in center-parted waves tucked behind her ears. I love how it cascaded down her back, allowing her beautiful glam to take center stage.
She used glittering brown eyeshadow and mascara to draw attention to her almond-shaped green eyes, swept pink blush over her cheeks, and added a pop of bright red lipstick to finish the look.
