The prestigious event was held at the Washington Hilton and featured a star-studded guest list, with celebrities like Drew Barrymore and Miranda Kerr in attendance.
The Elegant Outfit

The gown was styled with a Boysenberry Tyler Ellis satin Lee envelope-shaped clutch, which complimented the sheer elegance of her red carpet look. She attended the event with her Good Sam co-star Jason Isaac.
Taking on a New Television Role
After taking nearly a five-year break from network TV, Bush has recently returned to television work, starring as Sam Griffiths in the new medical drama Good Sam.
Bush left her last regular role on television in 2017 due to abusive behaviors and assault on set. In the same year, Bush and her female co-stars from One Tree Hill wrote a letter accusing showrunner Mark Schwann of traumatizing sexual harassment. He has since been suspended and fired from E!’s The Royals.

The actress’s experiences caused her to reassess what she wanted to do with her life. “It was a very jarring thing to have the two longest-running jobs that I’ve done in my career be poisoned with this kind of behavior that ran the gamut of severity,” Bush said of the experiences in an interview with USA Today.
“It really made me rethink what I wanted to do,” she added. “It’s the reason that I went and made independent movies that I loved and streaming shows with people whom I trusted and worked full-time on two elections and launched two podcasts, because I didn’t want to be stuck on a set again. Because when you’re stuck, you don’t have any options. You don’t have anywhere to go.”
Bush’s Activism with Lenovo’s Work for Humankind
Bush has been a vocal activist and is partnering with Lenovo’s Work for Humankind. The program inspires remote workers to use their added flexibility to give back.
The initiative gives a select group of volunteers the tech they need to work remotely from Robinson Crusoe Island. While living on the island, they will volunteer to support local communities and help prevent the extinction of endangered animals.

In an exclusive interview with Insider, Bush said, “To be able to take the idea of work from home and turn it into working for good is something that feels really exciting.”
