Zendaya made a surprise return to the Coachella stage on Saturday. Days later, she was rubbing elbows with Hollywood’s top stars at the 2023 CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards, where she was honored with the Star of the Year award.

Serving looks once again, the 26-year-old actress raided Versace’s fashion archives, particularly the house’s Fall 2001 collection, for her latest red-carpet look.

She couldn’t be missed in the floor-length brown dress, originally worn by Karolina Kurkova on the 2001 runway.

Adorned with a rosette lace pattern, the form-fitting dress featured a flattering corseted bodice with leather paneling and a cowl neckline that perfectly highlighted Zendaya’s slim figure. It came finished with a matching leather belt, shoulder and halter neck straps, and a high back slit.

Zendaya credited retired celebrity stylist Law Roach for her evening look, paired with Christian Louboutin’s “So Kate” pumps in coordinating brown leather that you can buy on Mytheresa.

From the label’s Nudes collection, these pumps are made from smooth nappa leather in a medium camel brown color. They have a classic silhouette with pointed toes, 4.5-inch stiletto heels, and signature lipstick-red soles.

Zendaya kept the look elegant with jewelry by Bulgari.

She wore the Serpenti Viper 18kt rose gold bracelet with mother-of-pearl elements, the Bulgari Serpenti Viper bangle, the $3,350 Serpenti Viper ring in 18kt rose gold with the half band in pave diamonds, the $4,850 B.Zero 1 ring, the $2,080 Serpenti Viper 18tk rose gold ring, and the $11,400 Divas’ Dream earrings in 18kt rose gold set with a diamond and pave diamonds.

Keeping the vintage vibe going, Zendaya opted for old Hollywood glam. She styled her shoulder-length hair in voluminous side-parted curls and wore bronzed makeup with a neutral lip color.

Zendaya Reveals Watching Spider-Man Movie on Her First Date

Taking to the stage to accept her award, Zendaya spoke about the significance of theaters.

“In a theater, that’s where someone can feel seen. That’s where someone can feel less alone. That’s when someone can escape. That’s where someone can build a new dream. I have been witness to that, and I’ve experienced it myself.”

The K.C. Undercover actress shared her connection to Spider-Man, saying: “Literally, my first date was when I was 15 years old, and it was to go see Spider-Man in 3D.”

Years later, Zendaya would join the cast of the Spider-Man franchise, playing MJ opposite Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, played by her real-life boyfriend, Tom Holland.

Thanking the National Association of Theater Owners, Zendaya continued: “I’m so grateful for all of you because without all of you, what I do wouldn’t have a home or place to go.”

“I think my gift is storytelling. That’s what I love to do, and it means nothing if those stories don’t get to the people they need to get to.”

Zendaya Surprises Fans with Coachella Performance

Before flying to Las Vegas for the 2023 CinemaCon held at Caesars Palace, Zendaya made a surprise appearance at this year’s Coachella, where she joined British singer Labrinth on stage.

Marking her first live performance in over seven years, Zendaya belted out two soundtracks from her HBO drama Euphoria.

She sang I’m Tired, which she wrote with Labrinth for the second season of the teen drama, as well as All for Us, Euphoria’s unofficial theme song that appeared in the season one finale of the show.

Zendaya wore a pink, tiered ruffled mini dress and a pair of black leather over-the-knee boots for her performance, which was reportedly one of the most-discussed acts at Coachella.
