Zoe Saldana and her husband of 11 years, Marco Perego, are in New York City, embarking on a press tour for their upcoming thriller film, The Absence of Eden, which is slated for release on April 12.
The pair, often modestly but elegantly dressed in black, were spotted looking all loved up as they made their way to the press circuit.
Comfy in Baggy Jeans and Black Tee
I truly adore Zoe Saldana’s relatable yet classy sense of style. Take, for example, the black tee and baggy jeans combo she wore on Wednesday when she arrived at their Greenwich hotel.

I suppose many of you like dressing comfortably, just like Zoe does. She teamed a black V-neck tee with baggy, light-washed denim jeans and finished the relaxed look with classic white platform sneakers by Adidas.
This is a look I could easily pluck from my closet for casual days. It’s comfy yet still chic, especially when layered with a jacket. Zoe paired hers with a camel suede bomber jacket with ribbed cuffs, collar, and waist.
Adding a hint of flair to the laid-back ‘fit, Zoe accessorized with multiple gold hoop earrings, a ring, and a black quilted Chanel bag.
The Avatar actress then slicked her tresses back into a ponytail, wore minimal makeup, and hid her eyes behind a pair of tinted aviators.
Her Italian husband, Marco Perego, wore similar baggy jeans with a distressed dark brown leather jacket layered over a black-and-white zebra-striped tee. He finished the look with heavy-duty lace-up boots.

That same day, Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego were pictured holding hands as they headed to The View to continue the press tour for The Absence of Eden.
Marco opted for a rugged look with a black leather jacket, slim pants, and pointy boots, while Zoe chose a sophisticated style in a shirtdress and a white jacket.
Zoe’s black shirt dress from Gucci’s Spring 2024 collection features a collar, long sleeves, and front buttons. Though it seems too plain for my taste, I like that she left a few buttons undone to give it some flair.

What I found most appealing about Saldana’s ensemble were her accessories. For one, her white Gucci Spring 2024 jacket, draped over her shoulders, enhanced her outfit’s elegance. I loved its structured form, notched lapels, and tonal front buttons, which added a sleek finish to the classic shirtdress silhouette.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star also had a red Gucci Jackie Small Rosso Ancora Patent Leather Shoulder Bag, which gave the all-black outfit a splash of color.
For a dash of glitz, Saldana wore stud earrings, a thick gold tube necklace with a diamond pendant, and a few rings.

Wearing her sleek center-parted hair in a chic half-up, half-down style, Zoe completed her look with Gucci’s “Signoria” heels. Named after the iconic piazza in Florence, these pumps are crafted from glossy patent leather and have slingback straps adorned with the house’s logo seamlessly positioned between the chain links.

Hot Chic in Black Ruffled Blouse and Leather Skirt
The next day, Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego dropped by CBS Mornings to promote The Absence of Eden.
Saldana looked hot chic in her all-black Tom Ford ruffled ensemble, consisting of a viscose silk twill blouse and a leather knee-length skirt.
While I don’t particularly like her Tom Ford blouse ($2,490 at Browns) as it looked old-fashioned with its bib-like ruffled plunging neckline and spread collar, Saldana looked terrific. It highlighted her slim physique and revealed just enough of her flesh for a seductive touch.

Zoe paired her ruffled blouse with a sleek Tom Ford pencil skirt made of guanteria lambskin leather. The skirt has an asymmetrical thigh-grazing hem, ruffle trimmings, and a godet back and is sold for $4,250 at Farfetch.
If the excessive ruffle detailing doesn’t appeal to you, you can wear the skirt with a classic black shirt and leave a few buttons open for a seductive touch.
I love Saldana’s choice of footwear, which is also from the American fashion label. It looks classic in patent leather with pointed toes and 4.7-inch stiletto heels, but the anklet-like logo-engraved cable-link chain elevates its design. These pumps are available for $1,409 at Farfetch.

Saldana added a touch of gold jewelry to keep her ensemble cohesive and add some bling to the all-black look. She accessorized with earrings and a few rings and drew further attention to her decolletage with a $24,000 Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti Snake Necklace in 18k yellow gold.
I appreciate how she continued the sleek appearance by styling her dark tresses in a neat half ponytail with a center parting.
She wore bronzed makeup, enhancing her natural beauty with a swipe of brown lipstick, blush on her cheeks, and soft, smokey eyeshadow.

Later that evening, Saldana and Perego were seen holding hands on their way to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The two looked cool and trendy, with Perego wearing a biker jacket and denim jeans and Saldana in a long coat and loose-fitting jeans.
As I’ve mentioned, I love Saldana’s easygoing, relatable style choices; this latest look was no exception.

She created an elevated casual look by wearing a long, gray double-breasted coat over a low-cut white blouse, baggy jeans, and white platform sneakers.
Her accessories enhanced her look, including a statement necklace and thick gold hoop earrings. A mini quilted crossbody bag by Chanel slung across her body added flair to the ensemble’s overall aesthetic.
To maintain a polished appearance, Zoe styled her hair in a neat, middle-parted bun and wore a full face of makeup with mascara, heavy peachy blush, and pink lipstick.

The Absence of Eden: A Dangerous Journey to Sanctuary
The Absence of Eden, written and directed by Perego, premiered at the Taormina Film Festival in June last year. It centers on Esmee (Zoe Saldana), an undocumented immigrant who flees Mexico after killing a cartel member in an act of self-defense.
On her journey to sanctuary in the United States with a group of illegal immigrants, Esmee befriends a young mother and her daughter. Before even crossing the border, the mom and daughter get separated, and Esmee promises to look out for the child and help them reunite in the US.
To save the little girl’s life, Esmee eventually teams up with a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent (Garrett Hedlund).
