You know her as the American Idol sensation, but Carrie Underwood is more than just a singer.

This 7 time Grammy award-winning artist got her acting debut on the hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother (often abbreviated as HIMYM).

She appeared in 2010 during the show’s 5th season, on an episode titled “Hooked”. The episode aired on March 1, 2010, just days before her 27th birthday. She turned 27 on March 10, 2010.

Underwood played the role of Tiffany, a pharmaceutical sales representative that romantically toyed with Ted (Josh Radnor). She was vague about their relationship status throughout the episode, prompting Ted’s friends to say that she has him “on her hook”.

It was revealed at the end of the episode that she had a boyfriend the entire time, and Ted was left alone once again on his journey to find the woman of his dreams.

Underwood had only positive things to say about the experience. According to her personal blog, she “got to hang out with the whole cast, dress up like a flight attendant, play a cavewoman and had a baby pig poop on me…that’s right…jealous,” she wrote.

“I’m just glad I grew up on a farm because I think I was the only one who knew how to hold and wasn’t afraid of a little piglet!”

This country superstar wasn’t the only celebrity guest on the show. Both Alan Thicke and Britney Spears made multiple appearances, and the show also featured Adriana Lima, Abigail Spencer, Lucy Hale, Bob Barker, Jennifer Lopez, and Katie Holmes.

How I Met Your Mother aired on CBS from 2005 to 2014.

While Taylor Swift went for an Elie Saab gown at the 47th Annual CMA Awards, Carrie Underwood looked absolutely flawless in a breathtaking long-sleeved sheer gown from Ralph & Russo Couture.

The American country music singer paired the embellished dress with a Jimmy Choo “Cloud” clutch and ‘Fayme’ sandals from the same popular women’s shoe designer.

The Oklahoma-born singer-songwriter hosted the event with Brad Paisley, and she was seen wearing several different outfits during the show.

“I don’t know if I’m going to be allowed to change my clothes so much this year, but I will try,” Carrie joked in an interview with OTRC.

“It’s just a reworking of the show and our responsibilities as hosts and what not. Trust me I would change clothes approximately every three minutes if I could.”

“And, as per tradition, @BradPaisley sent me flowers, too! I am one lucky lady! May we all have a blessed night! :),” she tweeted earlier in the day.
