Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) president Diane von Fürstenberg attended a press conference on Monday to kick off Men’s New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016 held at Skylight Clarkson Sq in Lower Manhattan.
She was joined by CFDA CEO Steven Kolb and New York City deputy mayor Alicia Glen to discuss the “growth and impact of the week.”

The Belgian-born American fashion designer looked playful in a simple but chic shirt dress featuring buttons along the front and multiple patterns in different colors.

She accessorized her mini dress with a shark-tooth necklace and a selection of gold-tone and beaded bracelets.

The 68-year-old fashion icon defined natural beauty as she embraced her natural curls and wore barely-there makeup while shielding her eyes behind a pair of tortoise sunglasses.

Diane finished her laid-back chic look with a comfortable and stylish pair of “Darling” sandals from her collection.

They feature leopard-print haircalf straps, tan leather T-straps, tangerine leather slingback straps with adjustable gold-tone buckle fastenings, and about an inch of wedge heels.

Aside from the leopard design, these DVF sandals are also available in black-and-white zebra stripes on Amazon.
