Finn Wolfhard and Elsie Richter’s Relationship

Unlike many celebrities, Finn Wolfhard has been quite secretive about his romantic life. Rumors and speculation have surrounded his relationships, including his on-screen love interest from Stranger Things. However, Finn has quietly been dating a rising star named Elsie Richter.

Finn’s relationship with Elsie was confirmed through an Instagram post in June 2021. Although the post has since been deleted, the couple has maintained high privacy.

The specifics of their meeting remain unknown, but their mutual connections and shared friends could have played a role.

Despite attempts to keep their relationship low-key, Finn and Elsie were frequently seen together. Elsie even shared a picture of them at an indoor rock climbing gym.

Elsie posted videos featuring Finn on social media, suggesting their close bond. She also parodied a video by Millie Bobby Brown, leading fans to speculate about possible tensions between her and Jake Bongiovi’s girlfriend due to the rumors surrounding Finn.

Neither Finn nor Elsie explicitly confirmed their relationship, leaving fans to interpret their actions. Unfortunately, this lack of clarity resulted in negative experiences with Finn’s fanbase, as some fans threatened to expose Elsie’s personal information unless he publicly acknowledged their relationship.

This experience likely influenced their decision to keep their relationship private and refrain from sharing much about it on social media.

In an interview with The Washington Post in 2021, Finn expressed his appreciation for most fans while acknowledging that some individuals take things too far by prying into his personal life.

He revealed, “They’re like, ‘Oh, okay, I’m so sorry. We love her.’ It all fades literally once you’re like, ‘Hey, calm down. It’s cool. I’m a real person.’ It’s almost like a trance or something. Maybe it’s a power thing.”

In another conversation with his Stranger Things co-star Joe Keery, Finn told Interview magazine, “I think about deleting Twitter every single day. I don’t even check it anymore. It feels like noise, like a giant air conditioning unit above your bed that’s so loud, and then you find the switch to turn it off and you’re like, ‘Oh, nice.'”

He added, “I’m not anti-social media because if I was, I’d be off it. I have respect for it, but I’m also terrified of it.”
