If the Giueseppe Zanotti swirl sandals just got better, the gravity-defying heel-less Giuseppe Zanotti shoes just got freakier.

We thought the Italian designer was just going with a trend but no, apparently, he’s fully embracing the heel-less shoe. He’s playing with it, experimenting with it and quite literally taking it to new heights.

Just check out this 5″-high bootie version that’s fully blinged out in multicolored rhinestones from top to platform sole.

As if that wasn’t enough, he created this gold spiked and studded version that is not only ankle-breaking but is also ankle-piercing:

Giuseppe Zanotti has also gone to Noritaka Tatehana levels with the height on his platforms and created this lookalike of that insanely high red leather heel-less platforms we spotted on Lady Gaga:

He’s also put the no-heel look on thigh high boots. As if thigh high boots weren’t difficult enough to wear!

Clearly, Giueseppe Zanotti isn’t over heel-less shoes just yet. Are you?
