Filmmaker couple Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig looked all glammed up as they attended the 2020 Academy Awards on Sunday.
The longtime couple competed for Best Picture Oscar for their respective movies but lost to South Koreans Kwak Sin-ae and Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite.
Greta directed the coming-of-age period drama Little Women, while Noah directed, wrote and co-produced the original drama film, Marriage Story. Both films were each nominated for six Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress, which went to Laura Dern.

The Little Women director, who was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay, went for old Hollywood glamour in a custom green strapless Dior Haute Couture gown.
The traditional ball gown features a pleated bodice with a sweetheart neckline, updated with fringing along the floor-sweeping hem. It also has a dainty belt to accentuate her waist.

Stylist Cristina Ehrlich amped up the elegance factor a few more notches with a pair of diamond earrings and a necklace made of platinum with seven emerald beads, 14 pear diamonds, 32 round diamonds, and pave-set diamonds by Bulgari.
Hairstylist John D. swept back Greta’s blonde hair with a side parting to allow her to showcase her stunning jewelry. Makeup artist Jenn Streicher beautified the actress-director with dark green eyeshadow to complement her gown. She also applied mascara, pink lipstick and matching blush.

Noah also opted for a Dior look, wearing a Dior Men black tuxedo with a crisp white shirt underneath and a black bow tie.

Right after the ceremony, Greta attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party in another Dior creation. Noah joined her at the after-party as well as some of her friends, who wore coordinating yellow-green outfits.

The 36-year-old filmmaker traded her ball gown for a black mini dress with lace overlay and embellished shoulder straps. She added a black leather belt with a gold CD logo to the look to highlight her figure.

The American actress/filmmaker accessorized with gold hoop earrings, gold rings, and a bangle. And for her feet, her stylist opted to keep the look simple with Jimmy Choo black pumps.

Before the Oscars, Greta Gerwig attended the 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica.
Showing her quirky style, Greta wore a multi-printed patchwork dress from Prada’s Resort 2020 collection. It gives an illusion of a striped cotton shirt that’s worn underneath an apron-inspired multicolored floral midi skirt.
