During an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show earlier this month, the 49-year-old supermodel and America’s Got Talent judge, Heidi Klum, discussed the possibility of having more children. She will turn 50 on June 1, 2023.
According to National Center for Biotechnology Information, getting pregnant after the age of 45 is rare and presents a high risk to both the mother and baby. Pregnancies at this age have a higher chance of resulting in spontaneous abortion, gestational trophoblastic disease, and chromosomal abnormalities in the fetus.
When Jennifer asked about the possibility of another baby, Heidi admitted that the idea is something she goes back and forth on. “It depends on the day,” she said. “I mean, having a child is a lot. I’ve already done it four times.”
Heidi went on to explain that she breastfed each of her children for eight months and then became pregnant again three times in a row. “I have four children – an 18-year-old, a 17-year-old, a 16-year-old, and a 13-year-old,” she said.
However, Heidi revealed that she has waited a long time and said, “so yeah,” implying that having another baby might be in her future.
Heidi shares two daughters, Leni and Lou, and two sons, Henry and Johan, with her ex-husband Seal. Leni Olumi Klum’s biological father is Italian businessman Flavio Briatore.
The wealthy supermodel married her current husband, Tom Kaulitz, in 2019. The German musician and the husband of supermodel Heidi Klum has no children.
