Jennifer Lopez has been having a pretty good year so far.

Her relationship with fiancé Ben Affleck is stronger than ever, and the two have been spotted everywhere together.

Last month, she received the MTV Generation Award and gave a tearful acceptance speech. She also ushered in summer with her latest shoe collection that’s available at DSW.

June also saw the release of her Netflix documentary Halftime. It opened the Tribeca Film Festival and made waves once it became available to stream worldwide on June 14.

The inspirational film primarily focused on her 2020 Super Bowl halftime show with Shakira. But it tackled a lot of other issues from finding her place in the industry to being the butt of sexist jokes (pun intended).

However, Jennifer takes all of it in stride and in style. She’s put in decades of work to prove herself amidst all the struggles. In fact, her work can speak for itself.

A career of that magnitude deserves to be acknowledged and celebrated. So, Netflix invited three brilliant artists to create murals highlighting Jennifer’s illustrious career and social responsibility.

Murals for Jenny from the block

Netflix brought Jenny back to her block as these murals popped up around New York to coincide with Halftime’s release.

Artist Rey Jaffet is popularly known for creating Miami’s tallest mural in 2018. His Jennifer Lopez-inspired creation can be found on 214 East 36th Street.

Meanwhile, Puerto-Rican artist Santos Rivera “Bikismo” Joshua Santos Rivera is a master at using spray paint. His work can be found on Jennifer’s home base, the Bronx, specifically on 135 Lincoln Avenue.

Finally, Nicole “Nico” Holderbaum’s piece can be found on 100 Ludlow Street. The Florida-based artist shared on Instagram that she was “so inspired” by Jennifer as she prepared for the project.

“She has persisted through the torment and criticism of the public eye to impact our culture and our world, and to break boundaries for women and the Latinx community!”

Adding her signature glam touch

We can always expect Jennifer to showcase her style A-game even while out and about in Los Angeles. Whether dressed up or dressed down, she always adds her glam touch to make the look truly her own.

Last month, Jennifer looked chic as she walked hand-in-hand with daughter Emme.

The 52-year-old star wore a collared white blouse with long puff sleeves, fitted cuffs, and ruffle trim.

She tucked it into Grey Ant flared denim jeans and finished off her look with shades and high heels.

A few days before that, Jennifer was spotted in a sexy black dress that showed off her toned arms and décolletage. We couldn’t find a clear shot of her shoes, but she wore Andrea Wazen platform heels.

These Antigone platforms featured clear PVC panels, buckled ankle straps, 1-inch platforms, and 6-inch stiletto heels. They are available in both black and light beige for $620 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Finally, Jennifer showed that she only flew first class in a video shared on Instagram. She strutted around in her favorite Gucci white platform heels as Jack Harlow’s “First Class” played in the background.
