I have always admired Joey King’s fashion sense, which combines chic, bold, carefree, and romantic elements. Whether she’s gracing the red carpet or casually attending morning shows, her stylish ensembles consistently exude confidence and individuality.

Her recent arrival at the Jimmy Kimmel Live! Studios ahead of her late-night show appearance on Thursday, April 11, in Hollywood, California, showcased her signature romantic and chic style.

The 24-year-old American actress was there to promote her new series, We Were The Lucky Ones, now available for streaming on Hulu with new episodes premiering every Thursday.

Alluring in Black Lace Monse Strappy Bralette and Bustier Trousers

Joey King’s fashion approach exuded allure for her studio entrance, and I love this look on her – it strikes the perfect balance between chic and daring, in my opinion.

She confidently sported a $850 black lace-trim bralette by Monse. It boasted halter tie straps and a plunging V-neckline that beautifully accentuated her assets. Sleeveless and cropped, the ensemble offered just the right amount of skin.

Now, let’s talk about those pants she chose. For me, they’re spot-on. The Princess star opted for a $1,390 matching black lace bustier trousers, also from Monse, and I have to say, I’m a fan.

What catches my eye is the corset-inspired bodice, which elegantly accentuated her figure and hugged her curves, featuring boned side seams.

The pants also boasted a pleated front and front slant hip, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall appearance.

Chic Black Monochrome Theme With Stylish Choices

I’m fond of Joey’s decision to maintain her ensemble’s chic black monochrome vibe. She paired it with a $300 pair of Naked Wolfe Sugar black platform boots crafted with vegan-friendly stretch materials and fabric stretch lining. You can buy them at Nordstrom.

Her choice of footwear featured the Naked Wolfe “Wolfe” head plaque and a metal plaque embedded into the heel. With a heel height of 13cm and a platform of 5.5cm, these boots significantly boosted her petite frame.

I also appreciate her selection of dainty accessories, including silver necklaces and a stack of matching rings, including her engagement ring, adding a subtle yet elegant touch.

For her daytime outing essentials, The Kissing Booth actress carried a $444 Hereu black mini shiny Espiga shoulder bag with a single braided top handle. You can buy her Hereu mini Espiga shoulder bag at Farfetch.

Pairing it with matching black Linda Farrow Lola black rectangular sunglasses, she effortlessly shielded her eyes from the sun while maintaining her stylish look.

Completing her ensemble, Joey opted for simple makeup with pink lips, perfectly complementing her voluminous curls styled into a side-swept fashion that gracefully cascaded down her shoulders and back.

Romantic in Black Velvet Miu Miu Mini-Dress and Platform Shoes

For her interview, Joey King switched into a $4,020 Miu Miu black velvet mini-dress, which I think perfectly captured her sweet and romantic aura. I love it for her and I’d love to see it in my wardrobe.

Her Miu Miu short-sleeved velvet mini dress is available at Farfetch.

Her black-and-white ensemble boasted short puff sleeves with elasticated cuffs, a contrasting white collar, and a daring V-neckline that beautifully showcased her figure.

I particularly admire the gold-tone buttons on the front, transforming the dress into a flared skirt with an above-the-knee length.

Joey paired her dress with matching black Wolford tights to infuse a romantic touch. She slipped into towering black Giorgio Armani platform shoes with ankle straps and open toes, which elegantly elevated her short stature.

Her choice of accessories perfectly complemented her look, including a pair of Annele Whipped Dreams earrings in silver, an EF Collection white gold diamond Heart Signet ring, and a Dauphin white gold Serpentine ring.

Brad Pitt’s co-star carried a JW Pei Abacus artificial crystal mini top handle bag for her essentials.

I appreciate how her glamorous makeup enhanced her attire, featuring shimmering tones and nude lips. Tying her hair with a black ribbon at the back, with some fringes framing her beautiful face, added elegance to her overall look.

Joey King’s Barcelona Restaurant Misadventure While on Filming Break

During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Joey King recounted the memorable ordeal she faced during a recent dining experience.

Taking a break from filming her new series, We Were the Lucky Ones, the Going In Style actress and her 32-year-old husband, Steven Piet, traveled to Barcelona for a relaxing getaway.

Eager for an extraordinary culinary adventure, they secured a reservation at what was acclaimed as “one of the best restaurants in the world.”

Reflecting on the experience, Joey exclaimed, “So we go there, and we’re just so pumped. And we get there; It’s 28 courses. I just want to repeat myself. It’s 28 courses.” She candidly admitted, “It was a lot.”

Observing the kitchen dynamics, she noticed that despite the lack of communication among the chefs, each dish was a masterpiece, noting, “Every single dish came out looking like it was an absolute work of art.”

The Independence Day: Resurgence star described the culinary surprises, “They kept bringing out food that looked like one thing but tasted like another. Like they brought out this thing that looked like grapes on a vine, and then we plucked one off and popped it in our mouth… And I looked at the waiter, I was like, ‘Shrimp cocktail?’ And he was like, ‘Yeah.'”

As the meal progressed, the couple found themselves increasingly full. She admitted, “To be honest with you, I was full [by] course 17. but the chef is standing there, and his arms are crossed.”

After concluding the gastronomic extravaganza, Joey and her husband planned to explore Barcelona further. However, she began to feel unwell and realized she might have to “experience all 28 courses again.”

Joey humorously shared, “I just want to say, I don’t want to get graphic, but I spent way more time with the toilet than with my husband [on] that trip.”
