In early November 2021, Miley Cyrus showcased two dramatically different interpretations of Gucci style. Within days, she moved from the sharply tailored, logo-driven world of the Gucci x Balenciaga Hacker Project at the LACMA Art + Film Gala to the retro glamour and theatrical embellishments of Gucci’s Love Parade presentation in Hollywood.

Below, we take a closer look at the two standout outfits, from Cyrus’ floral boot-cut tailoring to her fringe-covered dress and metallic gold Gucci sandals.

1. Miley Cyrus Embraces Gucci’s Hacker Project in a Floral Tailored Suit at LACMA

On November 6, 2021, Miley Cyrus attended the 10th Annual LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles wearing one of the most recognizable looks from Gucci’s Aria era.

The outfit combined Balenciaga-inspired tailoring with Gucci’s signature floral motifs, illustrating the experimental direction of the Gucci x Balenciaga Hacker Project.

Cyrus wore a sharply tailored blazer with matching fitted trousers that extended into pointed-toe boots, creating an uninterrupted silhouette from shoulder to toe.

The pantashoes became a defining feature of the look, extending the floral print seamlessly from the fitted trousers into sharply pointed stiletto boots.

Popularized by Balenciaga in 2017, the hybrid silhouette remains one of fashion’s most recognizable examples of integrated footwear and has since been embraced by celebrities ranging from Joey King to Michelle Yeoh.

Built on Balenciaga’s elongated silhouette, the ensemble featured structured shoulders, Gucci-inspired florals, and repeated Balenciaga branding throughout.

Cyrus layered a white mock-neck top beneath the suit and carried a coordinating handbag in the same graphic print, reinforcing the Hacker Project collection’s head-to-toe concept.

As for her accessories, Miley wore a collection of statement, colorful rings from Rahaminov and Ruchi New York.

Echoing the outfit’s retro influence, Cyrus styled her bleached-blonde shag in loose waves and paired powder-blue eyeshadow with coral lipstick.

Earlier that week, Cyrus embraced a different Gucci aesthetic while attending the Love Parade runway presentation in Hollywood.

In contrast to the tailored Hacker Project suit she wore at LACMA, the look embraced 1970s-inspired glamour through dramatic fringe, feather detailing, metallic accessories, and a pair of metallic gold Gucci sandals.

2. Miley Cyrus Channels 1970s Glamour in Fringe and Gold Gucci Sandals at Love Parade

Miley wore a glittering blue fringe dress layered over burgundy fabric, featuring a high neckline, a floor-length fringe hem, and oversized yellow feather detailing around the hips.

Continuing with the retro-glam vibe of her look, Miley styled her blonde tresses in a wavy half-updo with a slight bouffant, held in place by a Gucci GG-embellished hair clip.

She then highlighted her eyes with mascara, wore a swipe of pink lip color, and added a hint of blush.

Adding a vintage element to her outfit, Miley accessorized with gold jewelry, including a pair of $2,650 Beladora crescent hoop earrings in 18k gold, a David Yurman Noblesse pave ring, and a Jose Hess diamond ring in 18k gold.

She then carried a metallic gold Gucci Mini Jackie hobo bag and rounded out her look with Gucci gold heels.

Unlike the experimental pantashoes, these metallic sandals represent a timeless staple of Gucci’s eveningwear collections. While Miley’s exact pair debuted in the Love Parade presentation on Hollywood Boulevard, metallic gold sandals continue to appear throughout the house’s modern lineup.

As of June 2026, Mytheresa carries several comparable styles, including the Signora Horsebit metallic leather sandals ($990), Vittoria metallic leather thong sandals ($990), Interlocking G metallic leather thong sandals ($890), and Horsebit metallic leather platform sandals ($1,240).
