Nicki Minaj, the Queen of Rap, is proving to be the queen of winter fashion as she recently stepped out wearing not one but two furry winter coats and boots while promoting her latest album, Pink Friday 2, and upcoming world tour.
All eyes were on the 41-year-old rapper as she made a jaw-dropping arrival outside the Ed Sullivan Theater before her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Showcasing her take on Barbiecore fashion, which still rules the runways today, Minaj bundled up in a fluffy hot pink coat by Alexandre Vauthier, a French fashion designer who shares Minaj’s affinity for ostentatious styles.

The richest female rapper layered her striking hooded fur coat over a white ribbed top, allowing the flamboyant outerwear to speak for itself. Her ensemble’s lower half featured a pair of glossy black latex pants tucked into bubblegum pink mink boots by American clothing designer Duckie Confetti.
These vibrant winter boots, which retail for $795, are made of real mink and have trendy square toes and high-block heels, adding several inches to the short rapper’s 5’2” height.
Proving that she really does live in a Barbie world, Minaj added a predominantly pink headscarf underneath her oversized hood, covering her forehead and long, pink hair.
She further accessorized with a chunky diamond necklace and a cocktail ring and completed her glam look with glossy pink lips, thick lashes, winged eyeliner, and long white fake nails.

As she was leaving the studios, the Trinidadian rapper—who never fails to turn heads with her fashion statement wherever she goes—changed into a more striking outfit.
Minaj swapped her fluffy Barbie pink hooded coat for a highlighter yellow one designed by Alexandre Vauthier, whose use of unique fabrics and ‘80s disco aesthetic is reflected in Minaj’s thick winter coat.
The furry electric yellow-green coat reached her ankles and had a thick hood and long sleeves.

The Starships hitmaker wore a bright pink tee that read “Crème de la Crème” underneath her striking coat and tucked her blue jeans into her stunning green Givenchy knee-high boots.
Ever the maximalist, Minaj opted for the crystal-embellished version of the popular Givenchy “Shark Lock” boots, available for $6,500 at Mytheresa.
These exquisite boots are made of satin and adorned with sparkling strass embellishments that glitter with each stride. They’re finished with almond toes, a metal clasp with a silver-toned 4G padlock, and a covered wedge heel.
The Other Woman star donned a new headscarf for the outing and paired it with rectangular sunglasses in a jet-black color.

Nicki Minaj Announced Pink Friday 2 World Tour
Nicki Minaj’s most recent appearance came on the heels of her 41st birthday, which she commemorated with the release of her fifth studio album Pink Friday 2, her first in five years after 2018’s Queen.
The album includes 22 tracks with collaborations with J.Cole, Lil Wayne, Drake, Future, Keyshia Cole, 50 Cent, Vert, Monica, Tate Kobang, Lourdiz, Lil Uzi, Skillibeng, Skeng, and Tasha Cobbs Leonard. One of the songs, Are You Gone Already, was produced by Billie Eilish’s brother Finneas.

In August, the album’s lead single, Super Freaky Girl, was dropped, breaking the record for the biggest debut for a solo female rap song on Spotify.
As part of the album promotion, Nicki will embark on a world tour beginning March 2024, stopping at 40 cities. It will commence on March 1 in Oakland, United States, and conclude on June 7, 2024, in Berlin, Germany. Tickets will be on sale today, December 15.
