Paris Hilton has finally made her grand debut at the Metropolitan Museum of Art steps in New York City, and boy, did she not disappoint.
The 42-year-old hotel heiress and reality TV star stepped out in an all-Marc Jacobs ensemble that paid homage to the late Karl Lagerfeld.
Hilton, known for her vibrant wardrobe choices, ventured out of her comfort zone and donned a stunning paneled leather off-the-shoulder dress in a dark, gothic shade.

With long sleeves and a floor-length train, the dress was embellished with a gloved bodice covered in shimmering black crystals, adding to its stunning allure.
The Supernatural actress completed her look with a black silk choker with a bedazzled camellia, Chanel’s hallmark flower, and regularly appeared in Lagerfeld’s designs. Her outfit was topped off with a simple set of diamond stud earrings.
Hilton’s signature smokey eye makeup and nude lipstick complemented her long, high ponytail for her blonde hair.
But her footwear truly made a statement on the red carpet.

Hilton sported Marc Jacobs’ iconic sky-high platform pumps – a pair of black, buckle-fastened high heels that were 8.5 inches tall and had a rounded toe and thick platform sole.
The set was covered in shimmering black crystals that matched her attire perfectly and made a dramatic gothic statement.
According to Jacobs, seeing the new mom in a black gown was “interesting and exciting” since it’s not typical of her usual wardrobe choices. However, he revealed that she was “all game” for it.
Talking about the man of the evening, Hilton told Vogue, “Karl and I hung out in Paris a couple times, and he was just such an inspiration to me always, and we had so much fun and just so many memories. I’ve always looked up to him in so many ways, and I love that we’re honoring him tonight.”

The 2023 Met Gala theme is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” and Hilton’s outfit paid a fitting tribute to the legendary designer.
Photos of Hilton with Lagerfeld were released just one day before the event to confirm her participation, and the images showed the pair having fun together.
Carter Reum’s wife donned a pastel eggshell pink gown with a ribboned waist and sparkling jewelry. Meanwhile, the late designer sported his usual uniform of a black jacket, driving gloves, sunglasses, and a ponytail.

After the event, Hilton shared some snaps with the other attendees, including her date Marc Jacobs, her sister Nicky Hilton, singers Anitta and Kim Petras, and models Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne, and tagged Kim Kardashian, one of her seatmates.

Although Hilton has been a part of popular culture for quite some time, this is her first time attending the prestigious event held on the first Monday of May, and she made quite an entrance with her stunning attire and sky-high platforms.
