What’s the best therapy for a broken heart? Shopping! And that’s exactly what Vanessa Hudgens did.
The newly single High School Musical star, whose movie Beastly is coming out this year, was spotted outside Ricki Criswell Skin Care and Waxing Studio at the end of 2010.

Vanessa Hudgens wore a Chaser Van Halen vintage eagle zip hoodie, adding a classic rock touch to her look. She accessorized with a Fendi Unzipped Zip It messenger bag, blending luxury with functionality.
Vanessa chose Betsey Johnson animal print wayfarer sunglasses for a bold, playful element. Her outfit was completed with Kettle Black tall fringe boots, introducing a bohemian and edgy flair.
The previous day, Vanessa enjoyed a lunch at Studio Cafe, joined by her “High School Musical 3” co-star Matt Prokop and “Modern Family” actress Sarah Hyland.

Seeing the Thunderbirds actress carrying a bag without fringes for a change is nice. Her new arm candy fits her current status. It’s a new bag (with no fringes) and a new Zac Efron-free life….definitely not bad!
Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron ended their relationship in December 2010 after dating for five years.
Going back to that bag, it’s quite a simple piece. Here it is in brown:
Fendi Unzipped Zip It Messenger Bag, $1,520
Simple and straightforward, like I said. The bag looks very functional, too, something you can actually use every day.
If that’s too pricey for you, I will understand; it is for me, too. So, I took the liberty of searching for an alternative, and here’s what I found at Zappos:
DKNY Nappa Satchel With Zipper Detail, $365
Although not exactly the same, the DKNY nappa satchel offers the same look and appeal (note the zipper details). Perhaps the only big difference is that it doesn’t have a crossbody strap.
