Manolo Blahnik Spring 2011 Collection

Before Christian Louboutin, Brian Atwood, and perhaps even before Jimmy Choo became such a hit, there was Manolo Blahnik. Yes, this designer may not be as big as those three now, but he is one designer who will never be caught dead with chunky or clunky shoes. Carrie Bradshaw’s favorite shoe brand will forever be for the woman who likes it slim and sexy. You will never catch him make anything round-toed either. Even his flats are slightly pointed. And why not? The silhouette is forever slimming, feminine, flattering, and again, that word – sexy.

His designs are more classic rather than fashion forward, but so what? It’s the classic that stands the test of time. Buy a Manolo and it’ll last you a lifetime, provided you don’t wear it everyday of course. So for today, we’re going to dedicate this post to Manolo Blahnik and his delightfully feminine Spring 2011 Collection (currently available at Neiman Marcus).
