Sarah Jessica Parker is well known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the hit series Sex and the City and other roles throughout her decades-long acting career.
She has been a Broadway child star, and a movie star throughout the 80s and 90s, and later made her debut on SATC. The award-winning actress has most recently graced screens as Carrie Bradshaw with the SATC reboot “And Just Like That.”

SJP is known for many things, including her toned arms and fashion sense. But she is especially well known for her love of heels because the actress uses them to increase her height, which measures a mere 5 foot 4 inches.
Although shorter than all her co-stars on the show, she stands out as a fashion icon and star.
Her Love for Heels
Carrie Bradshaw was well known for strutting down the streets of New York in her Manolo Blahniks. And like her character, SJP shares a love for high heels. She has used heels as a way to make herself taller, as well as be fashionable.
In an interview, she said, “For me, practicality stops at about four and a half inches. Other things come under aesthetics. I’m not particularly fond of a high wedge. But I think a high heel is one of the prettiest things imaginable.”

“As a short person — I’m 5 foot 4 inches — I count on a nice high heel.” SJP is much shorter than her actor husband, Matthew Broderick, who is 5 feet 7½ inches tall.
SPJ enjoys a good pair of heels, which is a good thing because the other SATC Stars practically tower over her height.
Kristin Davis (Charlotte York Goldenblatt) stands at 5 feet 6 inches, while Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones) stands at 5 feet 6½ inches, and Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) is 5 feet 7 inches.

Sadly, there was a falling out between Kim Cattrall and the rest of the SATC Stars, and she did not return for the reboot of the SATC series.
SATC was a hit worldwide, and SPJ was paid a whopping $3.2 million per episode for the last two seasons.
How Does She Stay So Fit?
She’s known for her love of fashion and high heels and her toned and fit physique. The 56-year-old actress loves walking just as much as her SATC character.
Living in New York City, she prefers to walk her kids to school and run errands without a car. If a destination is a little too far, she takes a bike. She also lives in a house with four flights of stairs with her husband and three children, ensuring she stays active.
She prefers to stay active than pump iron in the gym. “I work out for a sum total of 22 minutes,” she stated in an interview. “That’s all I can bear.”

She doesn’t adhere to a strict diet but enjoys all kinds of food, including junk food. She says that “I love to eat. I think about food all the time.”
However, she does follow the Hamptons Diet, a combination of the Mediterranean diet, the South Beach Diet, and the Atkins diet. The diet incorporates lots of fish, healthy fats like macadamia oil, and low-carb vegetables.
She also states that she is “Fortunate enough to have things like private trainers and yoga classes,” which help her remain fit and healthy.

Sarah Jessica Parker may be only 5 foot 4, but that hasn’t stopped her from becoming a fashion icon throughout the world, thanks to her role as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City.

Sarah Jessica was at the New 42nd Street anniversary gala when she filmed and posted a not-so-warm invitation encouraging her fans to join the tour.

SJP must have had spare time to create a video invite before heading to the gala. In the e-vite, she penned the details followed by an ominous “be there or you know.”
“I’ll be clocking in at @bloomingdales White Plains THIS Wednesday 4/13 around noon. Take a long lunch break and come visit me on the shoe sales floor. Tell your boss I gave you permission. There’s a pair of @sjpcollection shoes with your name on it and I can’t wait to help you into them,” she wrote on Instagram.
We’re pretty sure the actress was just trying to be funny for her fans. We think. Either way, we can’t imagine going to see her shoe collection would be a waste of time!
