In August 2016, the Dusk Till Dawn actress attended the Los Angeles premiere of the animated film. It was surprising to see Salma trading her usual YSL platform heels for a Brian Atwood satin platform peep-toe.

However, the actress didn’t stray too far from her go-to brand. Both her sheer top and fully sequined wide-legged pants were from Saint Laurent. Salma finished her look with jewelry from Beth Miller.

Inside Salma Hayek’s Outrageous ‘Sausage Party’ Role
She found her role as Teresa del Taco so outrageous that she decided to surprise her husband with the trailer, joking that it was definitely not for children.

The short actress claimed that she would probably never get to play a lesbian taco again (we think so, too), but the role was so outrageous that it was funny, so she decided to give it a go.
Despite the unconventional nature of the film, Hayek had a great time working on it, describing it as a unique and wild experience.
One of the film producers revealed that Salma Hayek showcased her improvisational skills while portraying the character Teresa Del Taco in the film. During the recording sessions, she came up with the memorable line, “Once you go taco, you never go back-o.”

Salma Hayek had previously lent her voice to animated films on two occasions. Her first venture was into the 2011 American computer-animated adventure comedy film Puss in Boots, where she voiced the street-smart Tuxedo cat Kitty Softpaws.
She followed it up with another animated film, the 2012 3D stop-motion animated swashbuckler comedy film The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! (released internationally as The Pirates! Band of Misfits), where she voiced Cutlass Liz.
Before dazzling on the red carpet at the Sausage Party premiere, Salma made a stylish stop at Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Swapping high-octane sequins for breezy daytime chic, she stepped out in an ensemble that perfectly captured summer elegance.

Salma skipped the jewelry — except for her wedding band — and accessorized the look with a pair of sunnies and a white Gucci hobo bag.
The Mexican-American actress casually wore her hair down in natural waves and sported barely there makeup, keeping the rest of her look simple.

She then boosted her height by a couple of inches with Gucci’s “Carolina” wedge sandals. Her navy suede sandals have horsebit-detailed strap bands, adjustable ankle straps, and 4.3-inch braided rope wedge heels.

Kirkwood, a celebrated British footwear designer, is renowned for his architectural silhouettes, bold material choices, and intricate detailing—an aesthetic Salma doesn’t often wear.
Typically, she gravitates toward Kering-owned fashion houses such as Gucci, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, and Saint Laurent, reflecting her close connection to the luxury group through her husband, François-Henri Pinault, its CEO since 2005.
