The Los Angeles premiere of “Divergent” churned out some very interesting sartorial choices.
“Divergent,” based on the best-selling novel by author Veronica Roth that you can buy at Amazon, is an action-packed science fiction film that showcases up-and-coming stars in breakout roles and veteran actresses Kate Winslet and Ashley Judd in superb performances.
Several looks at the movie premiere garnered mixed reviews from fashion critics, but we did see some fabulous heels from the stars who walked the black carpet at the Regency Bruin Theatre.
1. Shailene Woodley in Bronze Dress
Shailene Woodley shined in a beautifully embellished bronze gown from Elie Saab, which featured a side slit and a one-shouldered design that showed off her arms and legs.

The actress styled the floor-length piece with complementary gold accessories such as stud earrings and Stuart Weitzman heels.

2. Maggie Q in Black Asymmetrical Dress
Maggie Q turned heads in a show-stopping LBD from Anthony Vaccarello that showed off her goods and took the attention away from the film’s leading lady.

She wisely kept her hair and makeup simple and finished off her look with a pair of black Christian Louboutin pumps.

3. Zoe Kravitz in Ivory Dress
Zoe Kravitz’s head-to-toe Balenciaga look at the “Divergent” premiere received mixed reviews from style critics.

The 25-year-old actress wore an off-the-shoulder ivory frock from the label’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection, which featured a corseted structure, draped sleeves, lace panels, and a wide satin band at the bottom.
She wore a pair of blush-colored satin sandals and capped off her look with an assortment of statement jewels from Martin Katz Fine Jewelry, Anita Ko, Repossi, H. Stern, and Gaydamak.

Zoe’s mother and stepfather, Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa, showed up in support of the actress, who plays Christina in the film.
The two couldn’t keep their eyes and hands off each other at the black carpet. Lisa looked beautiful in her sheer white dress and open-toed sandals, while Jason looked handsome in his dark suit.

4. Kiernan Shipka in Pleated/Beaded Dress
Kiernan Shipka has consistently made excellent sartorial choices on the red carpet, and her pleated and beaded Valentino mini dress from the brand’s Spring 2014 collection was no exception.

5. Bella Thorne in Franziska Fox
Bella Thorne looked cute and chic in her two-piece outfit comprised of a set from Franziska Fox and a pair of Jimmy Choo heels.

The 16-year-old wore a tweed cutaway halter crop top paired with a matching high-waist skirt.
She swept her wavy and partially-braided strawberry blonde locks to one side and finished off her fun and age-appropriate look with gold-tone eye shadow, shimmering pink lips, an assortment of gold jewelry, and black suede heels from Jimmy Choo.

The “Shake It Up” star wore a pair of black suede Jimmy Choo “Vamp” platform sandals, which feature crisscross straps, adjustable buckle closures, and rounded open toes.

6. Claudia Lee in Grey Cocktail Dress

Chelsea Gilligan opted for simplicity — and apparently, a display of her love for soft drinks — in a white jumpsuit paired with two-tone pumps at the Los Angeles premiere of “Divergent.”
