Sophie Turner seems to have found comfort in Taylor Swift amid her ongoing divorce and custody battle with her estranged husband, Joe Jonas.
During the past weeks, the Game of Thrones actress and the Queen of Breakup Songs have frequently hung out in New York City.
They have gone out to dinner, enjoyed girls’ nights, and even attended an NFL game to cheer on Swift’s new boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The two were recently spotted heading to Emilio’s Ballato with actress Blake Lively and a few other friends for dinner.

Swift and Turner’s unlikely friendship has reached a new level after news broke that the latter is temporarily living in Taylor Swift’s New York City apartment.
According to Page Six, Taylor Swift, who briefly dated Joe Jonas in the summer of 2008, has loaned Sophie her Tribeca pad, where Sophie is currently residing with her two daughters, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1, as she navigates the messy divorce process.
A source told ET that the two women “have always liked and respected each other.”
“They are fans of each other and have been friends for a while. Sophie doesn’t care that Taylor dated Joe. It was so long ago and in the past. Taylor has a good time when she’s with Sophie and they enjoyed some fun girl time together last night.”

Aside from Taylor Swift, Sophie Turner has also been leaning on her best friend, Ellie Johnson, and Australian actress Olivia DeJonge for support.
Before their girls’ night out on Saturday, Sophie and her friends were pictured strolling around NYC in a cozy outfit.

Joe Jonas Files for Divorce from Turner
Early last month, Joe Jonas surprisingly filed for divorce from Sophie Turner after four years of marriage, saying that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.”
Jonas and Turner, who met on Instagram, then released a joint statement published on both of their social media accounts.

Days later, Turner filed a lawsuit asking for the “immediate return” of their two daughters to her native England.
“The Father has the possession of the children’s passports. He refuses to return the passports to the Mother and refuses to send the children home to England with the Mother.”
Sophie also claimed that she only learned of Joe Jonas’ plan for divorce through media reports.

“On or about Sept. 5, 2023, the Mother found out through the media that the Father had filed for divorce,” court documents say.
A representative for Jonas, however, denied the claims, saying, “Sophie was aware that Joe was going to file for divorce.”
“The Florida Court has already entered an order that restricts both parents from relocating the children. Sophie was served with this order on September 6, 2023, more than two weeks ago.”
