The world is healing. One of this year’s biggest plot twists happened Saturday night as Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber were photographed together at the star-studded 2nd Annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.
It’s safe to say that the apparent feud between the two is all water under the bridge now. Not only did they smile for the cameras, but they also shared a sweet hug and spent time together during the event.

In the photo, captured by Tyrell Hampton, Selena and Hailey could be seen leaning close to each other, with the singer resting her hand on the model’s leg.
This rare moment came on the heels of Hailey’s interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, wherein she addressed claims that she “stole” Justin Bieber from Selena.

Selena Gomez looked elegant in a classic black Armani crepe tuxedo pure silk suit, which retails for $5,300. The men’s style single-breasted blazer features a slim fit silhouette, a single button, and large lapels, while the relaxed, flared-cut pants have stitched pockets.

The Another Cinderella Story actress added sparkles to her sleek ensemble with jewelry by Cartier.
She wore $169,000 Panthère de Cartier earrings in 18K white gold, each set with two emerald eyes, one onyx nose, 13 onyx stones, three rubies, and 222 brilliant-cut diamonds.
Selna also flashed a $184,000 Panthère de Cartier platinum ring, set with two emerald eyes, 67 onyx spots, one onyx nose, and 700 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Letting her jewelry shine, hairstylist Marissa Marino tucked Selena’s center-parted raven locks behind her ears. Makeup artist Melissa Murdick highlighted her natural beauty with minimal makeup, including shimmering brown smokey eyeshadow and dusty rose lipstick.
The Only Murders in the Building star then showed off her pedicured feet in Jimmy Choo’s minimalist “Minny” open-toe sandals in black satin.

Hailey Bieber in Saint Laurent Dress
Hailey Bieber, on the other hand, went the sultry route in a slinky chocolate brown dress from Saint Laurent’s Spring 2023 collection.
The custom-made daring number features a cleavage-baring twisted, sweetheart bodice and a large, ab-baring diamond cutout, creating an illusion of a two-piece look.
It also comes with ruching on the maxi skirt, further highlighting the relatively short model’s figure.

Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber’s Rumored Feud
The perceived bad blood between the two has been going around for years since Hailey got into a relationship with Justin Bieber.
Fans have pitted them against each other, accusing Hailey of stealing Bieber from Gomez.

Selena was in an on-and-off relationship with Justin for eight years, from 2010 to 2018. Just three months following their final breakup, Justin rekindled his romance with Hailey.
The following month, he proposed to the model, and the pair tied the knot at a New York courthouse in September of the same year.
Hailey Bieber Insists She Did Not Steal Justin from Selena
During her Call Her Daddy interview, Hailey insisted that she began dating Bieber long after he “closed a chapter” with Selena.
“It’s not my character to mess with someone’s relationship. I would just never do that. I was raised better than that. I’m not interested in doing that and I never was.”
“I can say period, point blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody. That’s the end of it,” she continued.

Hailey added: “A lot of hate and perpetuation comes from like, ‘Oh you stole him,’ and I guess maybe that just comes from the fact that they wished that he had ended up with someone else. And that’s fine, you can wish that all you want, but that’s just not the case.”
She also mentioned that she respects Selena “a lot,” adding, “there’s no drama, personally.”
