Specializing in athletic shoes and clothing, the retailer boasts a wide variety of options and choices for just about anybody interested in sports or athletics. Eastbay is owned by Foot Locker, one of the most popular footwear retailers in America, which is always a good sign.

1. Shipping Policy

Eastbay, like most retailers these days, offers options for shipping their merchandise both locally and internationally. Fees related to shipping differ depending on where you live, especially if you’re from outside the country.

For domestic deliveries and shipping, you can expect your package to arrive in 5 to 6 business days. If it doesn’t arrive by then, Eastbay’s shipping policy guarantees that any additional fees related to shipping will be reimbursed.

The only exception to this is during situations when packages are delayed because of natural or uncontrollable factors, such as the weather. Also, note that only products that are in-stock and not personalized are covered by this expected delivery guarantee – personalized items do not come with this guarantee.

As you may have guessed, shipping is different for international deliveries. Eastbay has different policies for deliveries in Canada than with other countries, so let’s cover that first.

The Canadian policy states that you can expect your item to be delivered within 20 days of shipment, and shipment usually occurs within 24 hours of the order. A base shipping fee of $12.99 is charged regardless of the number of items that you buy, and an additional $1.99 is charged for every item that you order. So, for one item, you’re charged $14.98 – for two items, you’re charged $16.97, and so on.

Finally, for other countries, shipping costs come in at 28% of the entire order’s costs, or a minimum of $39.99. Expected times differ by country – places like Japan, Germany, the UK, and South Korea can expect their delivery within 7 to 10 days, whereas most other countries, such as Brazil, Spain, and the Netherlands, will have to wait up to 30 days for their order.

Payment options include major credit cards Visa, MasterCard, Discover, JCB, and American Express. Also, note that any sales tax that originates from international sales must also be paid by the customer.

2. Return Policy

If the product that you received was faulty, you can always return the item to Eastbay thanks to their return policy. The returns must have been done within 90 days of the original date of shipment for it to be eligible – any later, and the item will be sent back to the customer.

You can’t just return any product that you’ve bought from Eastbay, either – only unworn or unused items are eligible for returns. They must come with their original tags and be in new condition. Eastbay also currently offers free returns for their products, so don’t mind any statements of a $6.99 deduction from the refund.
