Imagine you have a dream at the tender age of 14, and your mentor basically tells you that you’re hopeless and you’ll never make it, would you listen? If Kate Winslet had listened to her drama teacher, she probably wouldn’t have achieved all that she had today.
Kate bagged the Best Supporting Actress Award at the recent British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) in London, proving to people everywhere that you are the only one who can take away your dreams.

In the winners room, Kate recalled her drama teacher telling her that she would “do okay” if she “was happy to settle for the fat girl parts.” The actress raised up her trophy afterwards and hilariously quipped, “Look at me now.”
