There was no shortage of naked dresses and completely sheer moments at the annual Oscar bash, from Olivia Wilde showing off her bra to Alessandra Ambrosio going entirely braless and Emily Ratajkowski leaving little to the imagination.
Schafer’s Ethereal Red Carpet Look
Hunter Schafer made a show-stopping entrance wearing a single white feather as a top held together with a sleek strap. White tape covered her nipples, but she still had a major underboob moment and a completely exposed midriff.

To tone down the sultriness, she wore a matching white satin low-rise maxi skirt that barely gave a glimpse of her Jimmy Choo heels.
The mermaid silhouette of her skirt and her long, beachy waves cascading down her back gave her an ethereal look worthy of being called a living work of art. It looked like she stepped right out of a Renaissance painting!

Inspiration Behind the Look
Hairstylist Rena Calhoun agrees as she tells ELLE UK, “Hunter has an effortlessly ethereal presence to her. She’s just naturally beautiful and otherworldly. When we saw the dress it instantly made me [think] of Botticelli’s Birth of Venus. She looked like a goddess, so statuesque like a work of art.”
To add to the effect, makeup artist Sandy Ganzer “used a combination of gold flecks and brick hues for a painterly take on the smokey eye.”
A Collaboration of Fashion Icons
Hunter Schafer was styled by Law Roach, who recently worked with Zendaya on another show-stopping look.
The celebrated stylist shared a photo of Schafer on his Instagram, raving about his client and giving a peek into Zendaya’s own comments about her co-star’s ethereal look. She called Schafer “STUNNING” and added several heart-eye emojis to emphasize her point fully.
Ann Demeulemeester’s Daring Ensemble for Schafer
Hunter Schafer’s ensemble was pulled straight from Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s debut Fall/Winter 2023 collection for Ann Demeulemeester, and it was the closing look from the runway presentation.

Reflecting on Past Appearances and Personal Growth
Last year, the 24-year-old Euphoria star attended the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party with boyfriend and Euphoria co-star Dominic Fike, and they made their blue-carpet debut as a couple.

Regarding the frenzy that comes with being a celebrity, Schafer told ELLE UK that she’s “trying to make an effort to not get lost in the sauce of all this stuff, because you can kind of get swept up in it.”
Luckily, she has her boyfriend, Dominic Fike, to keep her grounded. “I think we are able to be a safety net for one another. I feel like I’ve been learning a lot about the effort it takes to upkeep it. Because it does, you know, especially in our world. But, to me, it’s deeply worth it.”
