One would think that bearing the Kardashian name would pretty much get you everywhere.
However, The Daily Mail reported that the royal family rejected Kim Kardashian’s request for tickets to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
But is it true?

As it turns out, Kim didn’t even have plans to attend. A Kardashian rep clarified this claim in a statement released exclusively to Page Six.
In fact, Kim and her boyfriend Pete Davidson were nowhere near the U.K. The pair is currently in Los Angeles, busy with their upcoming projects. While they made a trip to London, they returned to California before the festivities began.
The Daily Mail deleted the initial story after the clarification, and all’s well with the world.

This unprecedented event marked Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 years of service to the throne. It’s the first among British monarchs, and her reign is the longest out of all British royals in history.
To celebrate, a slew of activities and initiatives took place within the four-day U.K. bank holiday weekend from June 2 to June 5.

Kim may not have graced the event with her presence, but an award-winning artist did.
Girl on fire
Alicia Keys showcased her musical prowess and stage presence at the BBC Platinum Party at the Palace. She performed her hit songs, including “Girl on Fire,” to a captivated audience.
The 41-year-old musician stunned in a custom black velvet jumpsuit from Moschino.
But the best part is her cape, which definitely gave her the royal treatment. The cape caught everyone’s attention with its intricate gold embroidery along the shoulders.

She continued the gold theme with the embellishments adorning her braid and the large hoops on her ears.
The multi-hyphenate star also wore black leather boots with sky-high heels to finish off her stunning look.

Foxy lady
Now that we’ve got that royal business sorted out, let’s get back to Kim. The Skims founder shared some shocking revelations on an episode of “The Kardashians” that aired on June 2.
Aside from details about their sex life, Kim revealed that Pete attempted to get her number from Megan Fox but got shut down by the actress.

Kim recalled receiving Megan’s text message as soon as news of their relationship was revealed. “Is this sh*t for real? Because he asked me for your number months ago.”
Apparently, Megan told Pete that he has “a better shot of me and MGK getting eaten by crocodiles than you do ever getting her number. Never gonna happen. Do not ask us.”
The 36-year-old actress is engaged to Machine Gun Kelly, who is Pete’s long-time best friend.
Getting serious
This controversial couple may not have been a great help, but it looks like Kim and Pete still managed to find each other. Their romance is well-documented and involves a lot of drama, but they seem to be happy together.
Pete accompanied Kim on several high-profile events this year, including the 2022 Met Gala.

There’s also that episode of “The Kardashians,” where Kim talked about hoping for wedding number four. Pete even reportedly tattooed the initials of Kim’s kids on his body.
A change of heart
The whole Kim and Kanye West drama also seems to be simmering down.
Last month, the reality TV star apologized for their relationship’s impact on the whole family. This also came with a warning as she anticipates a possible diss track from her ex-husband.

But such a song might not even get released if the Grammy winner decides to get a change of heart.
The 44-year-old artist, who is now known simply as Ye, apparently decided to seek psychiatric help.
His behavior has been worrisome as of late, especially since the divorce. But now, he’s ready to get the help he needs for the sake of their children.
Hopefully, this will result in a healing journey for everyone involved.
