The fans have spoken, and the winners at this year’s People’s Choice Awards were honored during Tuesday’s ceremony at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
Hosted by Kenan Thompson, the night celebrated various achievements in film, television, music, and pop culture.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was the most-awarded film nominee with three awards; Stranger Things topped the TV nominees, also with three wins; and Taylor Swift was the most-awarded in the music categories, winning awards for Female Artist, Album, and Music Video of 2022.
But even before the ceremony began, several A-list stars from different parts of the entertainment industry have already won on the red carpet.
From Olivia Wilde’s commando dress to Shania Twain’s That Don’t Impress Me Much-inspired leopard look, we’re rounding up the most iconic outfits from the evening.
1. Heidi Klum in Maison Blanche
The America’s Got Talent judge clearly stood out on the purple carpet in a deconstructed seafoam green and white mini dress by Maison Blanche, the fashion brand founded by Making the Cut Season 3 winner Yannik Zamboni.
Heidi Klum’s dress is part of the “Back” collection, which Zamboni presented at New York Fashion Week in September. It features an asymmetric silhouette with folds and cutouts, an abstract print, a long waist tie, and a halter strap.

Klum, who co-presented The Reality Show of 2022 to The Kardashians, teamed her look with over-the-knee white leather boots, which she got from Italian shoe label Le Silla.

Called the “Eva,” these boots fit like a second skin. Available at Farfetch, they are made from milk white stretch vegan leather and feature pointed toes and about 4.7-inch stiletto heels.

Allowing her outfit to take center stage, Leni Klum’s mom accessorized with minimalist jewelry, wearing just a few gold rings.
She then highlighted her hazel eyes with shimmering green smokey eyeshadow, created by makeup artist Linda Hay, and sported her signature bangs, styled by Danilo Dixon.

2. Laverne Cox in Collina Strada
The Orange Is the New Black actress hosted the “E! Live From the Red Carpet” segment at the People’s Choice Awards.
And for her role, Laverne Cox made sure to dress the part in the Olive Butterfly Princess dress from Collina Strada’s Summer 2022 Ready-to-Wear collection.

Already sold out at SSENSE, this botanical green and gold dress featured a sheer, stretch lace bodysuit that fit her like a glove.
It also had a vintage-inspired skirt made from Rose Silk, an organic cellulose fiber made from the natural waste of rose bushes and stems, finished with a pannier-like structure around the hips.

Celebrity stylist Christina Joy Pacelli drew attention to Laverne’s cleavage with a vintage YSL gold leaf necklace. She then added Jennifer Meyer’s hoop earrings and ring to the look, along with Demarson’s statement “Nova E+” ring.
Boosting her 5’11” height further with metallic gold pumps, Laverne glammed up with yellow gold eyeshadow, peachy blush, and rosy pink lipstick, done by two-time Emmy-nominated makeup artist Deja Smith.
Hair artist Kiya Wright, a two-time Emmy winner, then styled Laverne’s hair into a messy updo with face-framing bangs.

3. Olivia Wilde in Christian Dior
Olivia Wilde scooped up the Drama Movie of 2022 award for her second directorial venture, Don’t Worry Darling. This marked the Turistas actress’ first red carpet appearance following her split from Harry Styles last month after two years of dating.
Taking to the stage to collect her award, Olivia Wilde stunned in a completely see-through Christian Dior Spring 2023 gown that many likened to Princess Diana’s “revenge dress.”

In 1994, the late Princess of Wales wore a black Christina Stambolian dress hours after then-Prince Charles admitted to cheating on her on television.
Olivia’s stylist Karla Welch, however, took to her Instagram stories to deny that Wilde’s look is attributed to a man. “What’s revenge? We dress for the f*****g matriarchy.”

Leaving little to the imagination, Wilde wore nothing but black knickers underneath her black lace gown, exposing her nipples.
The risqué dress also had a backless design, a tiered voluminous skirt, and a plunging neckline held together by thin spaghetti straps. It was styled with a wide black leather Saddle belt that cinched her tiny waist.
Olivia then accessorized with Anita Ko earrings and teetered in a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti “Bebe” platform heels.

These pumps have a high-shine finish, trendy square toes, ankle straps, thick platforms, and 4.7-inch block heels.

Letting her gown do all the talking, Jason Sudeikis’ ex opted for understated glam. Hairstylist Lona Maria Vigi styled her blonde tresses in loose waves, while makeup artist Sarah Tanno gave her a sultry look using Haus Labs by Lady Gaga.
She applied the Optic Intensity Eco Liner Black Onyx Matte around Olivia’s eyes and smudged it for a smokey look. She also used Melt Cosmetics’ Supernatural lash and Haus Labs lip oil.

4. Sarah Hyland in Vera Wang
The Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin star flashed plenty of flesh in a frilly tiny black dress from Vera Wang’s Spring 2023 collection.
Showcasing her toned legs and ample cleavage, Sarah Hyland’s mini frou-frou dress featured tiered pleated ruffles, an asymmetrical bodice with a cupped underwire bust, and a large rosette ribbon over one of her shoulders.

A pair of Andrea Wazen “Antigone” transparent sandals rounded out her chic look. These sandals elevated Sarah’s 5’2” height, thanks to the thick platforms and towering 6-inch heels.

Styled by Brad Goreski, the Modern Family star accessorized with minimal jewelry, including a $78,180 Shay Diamond Emerald Cut Pink Ring and a $164,640 Emerald Cut Twin Ring.
Going for a baby doll face, makeup artist Denika Bedrossian highlighted Sarah’s eyes with heavy eyeliner and mascara. She then sculpted her cheekbones with peachy blush and finished the look with nude lipstick.
Hairstylist Ryan Richman used Aveda products to style Hyland’s center-parted waves.

5. Shania Twain in Rodarte
She’s one of the only two performers of the evening, hitting the stage with a medley of her classic hit songs, Any Man of Mine, That Don’t Impress Me Much, Waking Up Dreaming, and Man! I Feel Like a Woman!”
Later, Shania Twain returned to the stage as she was honored with the Music Icon Award.
For the ceremony, the 57-year-old Queen of Country Pop decided to recreate her leopard-print Marc Bouwer outfit from her That Don’t Impress Me Much music video from 1998.

Going the daring route, Shania flaunted her abs and cleavage in a custom Rodarte gown that had sheer paneling across the torso and gloved sleeves.
It also featured an animal-print bandeau top, a matching draped hooded scarf, and a hip-hugging low-waist black velour skirt with a curved waistline and a floor-sweeping hem.

The You’re Still the One hitmaker kept the rest of her look simple, styling with just a ring and a pair of diamond drop earrings.
Shania looked unrecognizable with her cotton candy-colored hair peeking out from her leopard hood.
She then matched her hair with her pink lip color and eyeshadow and rounded out her look with heavy eyelashes.

6. Carrie Underwood in Thom Browne
This year’s Country Artist winner opted to ditch her usual glamorous flowing gown in favor of a retro pantsuit by Nashville-based fashion label Any Old Iron.
Carrie Underwood stood out in the $2,250 chic black suit, composed of a sleeveless blouse with a satin collar, a slim-fit blazer, and matching flared pants, fully hand-beaded with floral star embroidery in gold hue with amber crystals.
The American Idol Season Four winner paired her three-piece holiday pantsuit with pointy gold heels that peeked out from underneath her bell bottoms.

Adding more sparkles to her outfit, the Calia clothing founder accessorized with dangling gold fan-shaped earrings and a selection of silver rings, all from Loree Rodkin.
Underwood’s blonde tresses were parted to one side and styled in voluminous curls cascading over her shoulders. Her makeup accentuated her eyes, featuring heavy eyelashes, mascara, shimmering smokey eyeshadow, and nude lipstick.

7. Elle Pompeo in a Striped Jumpsuit
Grey’s Anatomy’s Ellen Pompeo bagged the award for Female TV Star of 2022 for her role in the ABC medical drama series.
Like Underwood, Pompeo ditched the typical red carpet gown for an effortlessly cool jumpsuit that put emphasis on her slender physique.
Her outfit featured a striped pattern decked out in blue, red, and purple crystals. It also had a cinched waist, a V-neckline, and long sleeves with slits for a hint of skin.

The 53-year-old actress coordinated her look with a red manicure and blue satin heels by Santoni and further styled with diamond hoop earrings and diamond rings.

8. Carmen Electra in Alexander Wang
She’s no stranger to showing off her curves, and Tuesday was no different when she put on a busty display in an Alexander Wang gown.
Carmen Electra set temperatures soaring in the risqué gown that featured a slinky high-waisted black satin skirt and a crystal-embellished mesh bra inspired by a strappy bikini top.
Available for $1,495 at Saks Fifth Avenue, the daring number also had a halterneck, a back zip closure, and a wraparound strap that wound around her waist.

9. Loren Gray in Aniye Records
Olivia Wilde isn’t the only celeb who went commando at the event. TikTok star Loren Gray, who is currently the seventh most-followed individual on the platform, also opted for a see-through gown that gave onlookers a clear view of her bottom.
The 20-year-old social media personality wore a black and white look that featured a black leather corset bustier top and a see-through white mermaid-style maxi skirt that revealed her black underwear.

The Tony Award winner presented the Music Icon Award to Shania Twain. And for the role, he made sure to turn heads with a monochrome black look.
The American Horror Story actor wore Ronald Van Der Kemp’s “silk duchess ruffled scarecrow coat,” featuring a popped collar, three-quarter sleeves, and an all-over ruffle design.
